The United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called upon the Security Council to refer Syria to the International Criminal Court (ICC) for the crimes of “serious violations” by Syria, for the purpose of “achieving sustainable peace” in Syria. That this statement is incoherent, is par for the course among the UN mafioso gang.
As of this writing, the United Nations itself has not seen fit to publish Guterres’ full report to the Security Council. Yet this is of no matter, as international media — along with some Gulfies reporting — have used sentence fragments to quote him, for the purpose of yet another, tedious, round of anti-Syria criminal propaganda.
The ICC was established in 1998, ostensibly for the purpose of trying individuals charged with the gravest crimes of concern to the international community: war crimes, crimes against humanity, and the crime of aggression. Considering that the Syrian Arab Republic has endured the most heinous crimes against humanity, crimes of aggression, by this international community, in the history of humanity, Guterres’ new demand is excessively cynical — the call of a vicious bully to his mobster friends. Its most famous trial was that of the former Yugoslavian president, Slobodan Milosevic. Milosevic, incarcerated for 5 years, died during his kangaroo court trial and was posthumously exonerated — but without posthumous apologies from the media and politicians who called him “Hitler.”
This legal body has never indicted anyone for the destruction of Iraq, the genocide of upwards of 3 million Iraqi civilians. Not only are the crimes of Blair and Bush ignored by the ICC, but the UN covered up its own investigation — paid for with stolen Iraqi monies — putting its findings under lock and key, for sixty years.
So they formed this commission of investigation and sent it to Iraq…it’s about hundreds of people all paid off using Iraqi government funds, the Iraqi assets frozen by the United Nations. Billions of dollars were spent on the activities of this commission, at the expense of the Iraqi people….They gathered a meeting of the Security Council. In a few minutes, the president gavelled the meeting to order, and said, “We endorse the report of the commission” — without saying anything — whether they found something or didn’t find something. The issue is dead….These locked cages will not be reopened until 60 years from now….It will be too late to bring those responsible, accountable, to justice. There will be no George Bush; there will be no Tony Blair. — Dr. Bashar al Ja’afari, in his address to the Schiller Institute.
Antonio Guterres became a career politician in 1974. He was Prime Minister of Portugal, the president of the utterly corrupt Socialist International, and the High Commissioner of the UNHRC (he appointed Angelina Jolie as Special Envoy (perhaps it was him, to whom she winked when she gave a speech at the UN on 24 April 2015, a speech that sounded as if penned by the State Department).
Jolie was recently deployed for a photo op at the Za’atari refugee camp in Jordan, where she vomited up the standard anti-Syria emotional war porn propaganda regarding “…bombing of schools and hospitals, barrel bombs, torture, chemical weapons and rape…” and condemned “years of violence that women in Syria have faced.” As is standard, she ejaculated the words “all sides” in order to give a thin veneer of objectivity, though the inference to be made was quite clear. [Her trigger words are hyperlinked to reports of atrocities by NATO-armed terrorists she claimed were seeking human rights.]
The UN mouthpiece Jolie’s concern for rape is especially hypocritically repugnant. Syria’s Permanent Representative to this “place to demolish peace and security, to destabilize societies” has been ignored on every occasion that he has asked for condemnation of the attempts to eliminate the Syrian woman.
Jolie’s boss Guterres has received more than a dozen national honors from around the world. Perhaps the most chilling is that of Belgium’s “Order of Leopold” knighthood, named for the Belgian king who committed genocide in the Congo, exterminating upwards of 10 million human beings.
The Secretary-General has never been shy about his enmity toward Syria; in May 2017, in the true colonialist impunity of the United Nations, he issued a memo to the Security Council, noting that he had the “honor to transmit” the fraudulent report of the OPCW on Khan Sheikhoun. It was of no concern that the chemical weapons investigators admitted they did not enter this town in Idlib where al Nusra Front reigns (terrorists too scary), that their report was culled from terrorists’ verbal reports, and from fake evidence brought into Turkey without the essential forensics chain of custody.
In the rantings of western and Gulfies reporting on the still-missing memo, the UN capo di tutti capi brayed and bleated over takfiri being “besieged,” cited the fraudulent JIM fabrications from war criminal sources, and voiced his concern for the terrorists occupying eastern Ghouta (there was no mention of this “besieged” segment of human garbage having bombed Bab Touma neighborhood, last week, slaughtering 9 civilians and injuring 21. Days earlier, they had moderately bombed the Masaken Barzeh neighborhood, from eastern Ghouta.).
It’s about 23 million Syrians besieged, by economic sanctions, by terrorists crossing from Turkey, from Jordan, from Lebanon, from Iraq. This is the reality. The whole Syrian people are besieged.
Those who are besieged are all the Syrians. We are talking about Syria being besieged by enemies, by criminals, by murderers, by hostile governments targeting the whole Syrian people. — H.E. al Jaafari
The United Nations Secretary-General fakes concern for the Syrian people. Those who might fall prey to Guterres’ lies should remember the words of Malcolm X: If you’re not careful the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.
