Israel Bombs Aleppo & Damascus Airports: Two Civilians Murdered

Terror state Israel bombed DAM & ALP, murdering one civilian & wounding another

Israel has again perpetrated another double war crime. At 05:25 Damascene time, the criminal entity simultaneously bombed the Damascus International (DAM) and the Aleppo International (ALP) Airports, rendering both unusable.

These are both commercial airports. As New York City’s JFK, and Philly’s PHL, they serve civilian travelers: Business people, tourists, human beings traveling to new jobs, schools, and visiting family and friends.

Bombing such airports is a war crime. In these two bombings, Israel continues to prove itself a terrorist state. IHL’s Article 49, Section 3 applies to “any land, air or sea warfare which may affect the civilian population, individual civilians or civilian objects on land.”

One of the Zionist bomber jets came “from the direction of the Mediterranean Sea, west of Latakia,” and the other Zionist bomber jet “from the direction of the occupied Golan” — the same Golan in which IDF surgeons perform free state of the art trauma care on ISIS, after which these al Qaeda terrorists are transported via ambulances into Israel for full follow-up care, including extensive physical rehabilitation.

Terror state Israel last bombed DAM and ALP a mere ten days ago, also putting both civilian airports temporarily out of commission.

Terrorism is defined in the Code of Federal Regulations as ‘the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives’ (28 C.F.R. Section 0.85). — fbi.gov (another reminder that what the USA defines as terrorism, is also terrorism in Syria). UNSCR 1566 (2004) also provides defines terrorism.

Unlike terror state Israel’s bombings of the same Syrian civilian airports ten days ago, this time the Zionist state murdered two Meteorology Station workers, Atif Fadhi Nasr, and Ammar Ayad. Details of the wounded are not available at the time of this writing.

This author respectfully asks our Western readers to try to pronounce the names of these murdered men, to take a long look at their faces, imagining them as father, son, brother, men who go to their jobs and come home to their families.

Then, please ponder the insidiously racist subtleties of war propaganda. On the unique occasions that the murders of Syrians – and Palestinians – by Zionist Israel are mentioned by NATO-affiliated Scum Media, they are made into bloodless numbers, made into faceless, not human numbers while for the deaths of Israelis, the same media show their photographs, tell us of what they most enjoyed in life, invite us to their funerals, and to sit shiva inside their homes.

Damascus Airport weather station workers killed in Israeli bombing: Atif Fadhl Nasr, and Ammar Ayad

This author’s assessment is well addressed in the documentary a well-known US lobby group kept from being broadcast on US public television: Peace, Propaganda, and the Promised Land.

Syria News makes note of the continuous oversight by the International Air Transportation Association – headquartered in NATO Canada – upon every instance of Israel bombing Syria’s international airports.

IATA continues to avert its gaze every time Israel bombs Syrian airports

Such negligence is especially glaring, given IATA’s statement noting “the attacks on Abha Airport, Saudi Arabia,” in which the organization condemned “any, and all targeting of civilian aviation, its passengers…” and extended “its sympathies to the victims and their families;” given its statement of “outrage” over the “terrorist shootings” at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul, Turkey, and its “thoughts” being “with the victims, and their families and friends,” per IATA DG and CEO, Tony Tyler; given DG Willie Walsh having “unequivocally condemned” what he called “the unlawful invasion of Ukraine by Russia,” standing “in solidarity with the Ukrainian people,” though “Ukraine accounts for 3.3% of total air passenger traffic in Europe, and 0.8% of total traffic globally,” though no there was no bombing of any Ukraine airport.

We are not hopeful that the IATA will open its eyes to condemn Israel’s ongoing bombings of Syrian airports.

Syria News is also not surprised that UNSG Antonio “Brown Man’s Burden” Guterres remains mute over Israel’s two war crimes of today. His Excellency callously did not extend a word of condolence to Syria, upon the NATO-supported terrorists’ bombing of the 5 October Homs Military Cadet graduation ceremony by asymmetric drone warfare – though he was astonishingly and fantastically prescient in his tweet stating that the UN and ICRC president were calling “on world leaders to launch negotiations of a new legally binding instrument on autonomous weapon systems,” a mere twenty-two (22) minutes before the bombs massacred eighty happy graduates and their joyful families and friends there to celebrate their accomplishment.

UNSG Guterres again silent on Israel's war crimes against Syria

There will be avenging to the Israeli bombings of Syria; the Syrian Resistance has vowed and fulfilled its promise to bomb the US illegal military bases in Syria each time Israel bombs Syria, and this is ongoing to settle the scores of the previous Israel bombings and to avenge the horrific ongoing Israeli genocide of the Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

Zionist Israel bombed the Damascus International Airport, and the Aleppo International Airport at 0525, Damascene time, on 22 October 2023.

Never again! means for the whole world; those who remain silent over Israel’s murder of Atif Fadhi Nasr and Ammar Ayad are complicit in their murders.
