Syria condemned with the strongest words the massacre committed by Israel against the Baptist Hospital in Gaza which led to the murdering of hundreds of civilians, mostly women, children, doctors, and patients, holding the US-led Western countries responsible for Israeli massacres.
In a statement issued first by the Syrian Presidency and conveyed by the Syrian News Agency SANA, the Syrian Arab Republic reminded the world of the criminal nature of the Zionist entity throughout the history of this foreign entity.
“What the Zionist criminal forces carried out in their attack on the Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip constitutes one of the most heinous and bloodiest massacres against humanity in the modern era.
The Syrian Arab Republic considers this massacre of hundreds of innocent people in Gaza to be a barbaric act that expresses the level of hatred of the Zionist entity, which with its crimes has exceeded the utmost levels of aggression and murder.
This heinous crime only reminds us of the crimes of this entity that was established and founded on massacres and reflects a stark picture of the continuation of the approach of the gangs that created the criminal Zionist entity.
The Syrian Arab Republic holds Western countries, especially the United States of America, responsible for this massacre and other massacres, as it is a partner of the Zionist entity in all organized killing operations against the Palestinian people.”

Yesterday late evening, the criminal Israeli regime of Netanyahu and his coalition of radical anti-Jewish Zionist fanatics committed one of their deadliest massacres against the civilians of Gaza killing more than 500 people, all of them were civilians, most of them were women and children, many doctors and nurses, and even patients. The toll is expected to rise as eye-witnesses are reporting.
This heinous massacre was committed by Israel on the eve of the visit of US President Joe Biden to the region after he, every official in his criminal junta, and the majority of the representatives of the US people from both parties ruling the USA expressed their utmost support to Israel in its war against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
The Israeli massacre against the Baptist Hospital in Gaza was met with worldwide condemnations with angry people taking to the streets especially in the Arab and Muslim worlds, and to a series of condemnations from governments and heads of states across the world.
Israel has been committing systematic genocide against the Arab people in Palestine, Muslims and Christians, and in the neighboring countries ever since the first anti-Jewish Zionist settlers were shipped by Britain to Palestine over 100 years ago, and has escalated its current wave of terrorism, especially after the humiliating defeat its armed forces had at the hands of few hundreds of fighters from the Gaza Strip on the 7th of this month, October.
Israel deliberately attacks hospitals, shelters, and refugee camps like Sabra and Shatilla in Lebanon, massacring dozens of civilians at once to terrorize its opponents, a tactic later adopted by al Qaeda and ISIS, yesterday’s massacre at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza is among the deadliest of those Israel has committed.
Qana 1 massacre: A war crime never to be forgotten
On April 18, 1996, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) shelled a UN compound in Qana, Lebanon, killing over 100 civilians, including many women and children. The massacre was widely condemned by the international community, but Israel has never been held accountable.

The victims had taken shelter in the building because it was one of the larger and more sturdy buildings in the area. The Israeli military claimed that the building was a Hezbollah target, but no evidence was ever provided to support this claim.
The Qana 2 massacre was widely condemned by the international community, and it led to a two-day ceasefire in the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. However, the massacre also sparked outrage in Lebanon and other parts of the world, and it served to further damage Israel’s reputation.
In a disgusting and desperate attempt to escape the responsibility for committing the Baptist Hospital Massacre in Gaza, Israel tried to accuse first Hamas of firing a rocket that hit the hospital, then accused the Palestinian Jihad faction in Gaza of firing a failed rocket that struck the hospital without providing any evidence to its claims. All evidence proves that a guided missile fired from the sky struck the hospital including the above video circulated by activists at the time of impact, the threats of dozens of Israeli, US, and European officials to ‘finish them’ and to ‘flatten Gaza’ and describing the people of Gaza as ‘human animals.’
