A Syrian police officer was shot dead by ISIS terrorists in the southern Syrian province of Daraa, the second fatal terrorist attack in less than 48 hours in the south of Syria targeting law enforcement.
Syrian Police Honorary Lieutenant Ahmad Zakarya Al-Wadi of the Mahajjah Police Station in the town of Sheikh Miskeen in Daraa was shot dead by masked terrorists on motorbikes during a police patrol, the Syrian Ministry of Interior said in a statement.
An official funeral was attended by top police commanders in the southern region and the family of the law enforcement martyr farewelled the martyr to the family’s graveyard in the town of Ghabagheb in Daraa.
This terrorist attack comes less than 48 after US-sponsored ISIS remnants killed two Syrian policemen in the southern province of Quneitra, to the west of Daraa.
The escalation against the Syrian people, the Syrian policemen, the Syrian Arab Army cadres, notables, regional state officials, and public workers is the updated policy of the US-led NATO ‘defensive’ alliance in West Asia in addition to the increase of the Western sanctions against the people who taught them the alphabet, agriculture, basic science, and introduced the three divinely religions, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam to the world.
Remnants of the ISIS (ISIL – Daesh) terrorists defeated in Daraa by the Syrian Arab Army sought protection from the US Army illegally deployed in the Syrian Al Tanf region on the joint Syrian – Iraqi – Jordanian borders in the furthest southeastern Syrian open desert.
ISIS remnants carry out their terrorist attacks and flee back to their bases within the 55 kilometers zone surrounding the illegal US military base in Al Tanf and protected by the US Army which brags about sponsoring the ISIS-affiliated Maghawir Thawra (aka Syrian Free Army), the sponsoring include arming, training, funding, commanding the terrorists and providing protection to them.
