The loud sounds of explosions heard all over the Syrian capital Damascus shortly after midnight was the result of Israel bombing posts in the outskirt suburbs southeast of the city.
A Syrian military spokesperson said in a statement carried by the Syrian news agency SANA:
“At about twelve o’clock and thirty minutes in the morning, the Israeli enemy carried out an air attack with bursts of missiles from the direction of the northeast of Lake Tiberias, targeting some points in the vicinity of the city of Damascus; our air defenses intercepted the aggression’s missiles and shot down a number of them.”
The Israeli ‘bombing resulted in the injury of two soldiers and some material losses,’ the statement of the Syrian military source concluded.
Lake Tiberias is referred to in western media as the Sea of Galilee borders the Syrian Golan and Palestine, both under illegal Israeli occupation since 1967 with the help of the so-called international community and overseen in the bilateral relations between Israel and the rest of the world including Russia and China, and other countries claiming to adhere by and support international law.
Today’s Israeli bombing comes a month after its latest bombing on November 19th from the Mediterranean side which targeted several points in the coastal and central regions of Syria.
Israel (read: the USA, NATO, Gulfies, and the silent majority of the world,) takes advantage of the US-led war of terror and war of aggression using tens of thousands of anti-Islamic terrorists of Wahhabi and Muslim Brotherhood doctrines, the doctrines followed by the Saudi and Qatari ruling families and the AKP ruling party of the Turkish madman Erdogan, and Al Qaeda commanders in Afghanistan.
The real enemies of this NATO-sponsored plethora of terrorist groups are mainly mainstream Muslims who are not like them, and Christians living in the Levant, their goal is to divide the region into enclaves over whatever ethnic, religious, and sectarian lines to justify the conversion of Israel into a ‘Jewish state,’ a religion-based state cannot survive in a secular environment which leaves Syria, the last secular state in the region as an existential threat to the kingdom of the Antichrist being built by the Zionists and Zio-Christians in Palestine.
Syrian air defense units have proven to be the most efficient in using all the systems provided to them in repelling incoming enemy missiles despite suffering massively at the beginning of the US-led war of terror against Syria when the Al Qaeda FSA terrorists were attacking, sorry liberating the Syrian air defense units thus allowing NATO and Israel to invade and bomb the country.
Unfortunately, Russia, Syria’s ally in the war against terror, as the Russian leadership officially states, continues to hold back the 4-decades old S300 air defense systems bought by Syria that were supposed to be delivered and put in operations in 2010 despite offering the more advanced S400 to everybody else including NATO member state Turkey, in addition to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and India!
Russia also, instead of exerting pressure on the Turkish madman Erdogan to implement the Astana and Idlib agreements to withdraw from northern Syria and cease sponsoring Al Qaeda terrorists in the north and especially in Idlib, seems to be exerting pressure, at least publicly on the Syrian leadership to mend the ties with the Turkish regime in order to prop up the chances of the madman Erdogan to win yet another re-election in his country, the latest of which are the Russian statements of their favoring a meeting between the Turkish madman and the Syrian President Bashar Assad facilitated by Russian President Putin while the Turkish army with its proxy terrorist groups of ISIS and Al Qaeda continue to occupy large parts of northern Syria and commit war crimes and genocide on the Syrian people living there, or who’s left of them.
The anti-Islamic hypocrite flip-flop untrustworthy NATO Turkish madman Erdogan needs a meeting with President Assad to boost his image among his voters and in front of the opposition parties in Turkey to claim he’s handling the Syrian crisis, and resolving the Syrian refugees’ crisis both he worked hard to cause and that led to the tanking of the Turkish economy.
No matter how much economic help Russia, Qatar, and Iran continue to extend to Turkey, the anti-Syria policies of Erdogan remain the main obstacle in shoring up the Turkish economy. As if Russia has not learned any lesson from NATO in regard to the Minsk agreements in Ukraine.
Freeing the Syrian army from the need to confront the Turkish army and its Al Qaeda and ISIS proxy terrorists in northern Syria by implementing the Astana and Idlib agreements guaranteed by Russia and Iran will allow the Syrian armed forces to eliminate the US-sponsored Kurdish SDF separatist terrorists and leave the US oil thieves without military cover forcing them to flee the country and then we can see Israel counting to a million before thinking of attacking Syria.
