In his 3 February interview on CBS’s Face the Nation, U.S. President Donald Trump revealed a main intention of accelerating Obama’s war criminal bombing of Syria, since September 2014: “We have to protect Israel.”This is utterly absurd, as it is Israel which has bombed Syria more than 30 times since 2011. Syria has not attacked Israel.
Contrary to the rantings of ‘neutral’ MSM, the US-led coalition begun by Obama and continued by Trump and the ongoing bombings of the SAR by Israel are breaches of International Law:
US strikes in Syria may be lawful if Syria consents to the use of force in their territory. If Syria does not consent, the strikes would violate international law, unless the US demonstrates that the strikes were taken in self-defense.

Many news ‘stories’ were written about this interview, but they all omitted the very important topics of war crimes and occupation.
Remember when Trump was running for office? He told everyone he opposed the invasion of Iraq in 2003. He called it “the greatest mistake.” When he was elected, he talked as though he had a “good” attitude against such wars, and against the continuing involvement in Iraq.
Brennan cut Trump off when he started to mention lying intelligence against Saddam Hussein, and he let her continue the distraction.
Just before Christmas President Trump announced about his vague plan to withdraw his troops from Syria and Afghanistan. He lied that the US had defeated and was finished fighting ISIS, that the “mission” was “achieved.” Brennan was concerned that Trump made the announcement without consulting “Mad Dog” Mattis, and of his subsequent resignation.
Trump was sworn in and then reversed his “goodwill.” In January 2017, he started bombing Syria and giving the green light to Israel to bomb Syria repeatedly.
However, the announcement was not real. Trump’s coalition has bombed Syria several times since 19 December, but such a trivial lie was ignored by the reporter. Also ignored is that the US has been bombing Syria to “fight ISIS.” This is such a transparent pretext even the naive would not believe it.
The US-led coalition in Syria has aided ISIS, has destroyed Syrian infrastructure, and has murdered more Syrians than ISIS could do alone. Syrians will not ignore the many times that US jets have bombed Syrian Arab Army positions to help ISIS, including assisting these terrorists to advance from Iraq into Syria.
Back to the first part of the pre-Christmas announcement: If we tried to accept Trump’s claim to plan to remove illicit US troops from our country, why was it followed by American ally Israel flying across the Lebanese sky to bomb Syria on Christmas Day, while everyone stood in shameful silence, faking ignorance over International Law?
Brennan asked no questions about Trump continuing to bomb Syria. She asked no questions about “ally” Israel bombing the Damascus International Airport.
Trump bragged about his recent trip to Iraq, and Brennan made no comment about the Iraqi government being angered that he entered without the standard diplomatic protocol. She also remained quiet when he bragged about his intentions to keep a US military base in Iraq. Confusing Iran with “ally” House of Saud, he stated: “One of the reasons I want to keep it is because I want to be looking a bit at Iran because Iran is a real problem….We’re going to keep watching and we’re going to keep seeing and if there’s trouble, if somebody is looking to do nuclear weapons or other things, we’re going to know it before they do.”
Trump didn’t give Brennan any time table for illegal US troops to get out of Syria, but instead made more threats: We’ll come back if we have to and We have to protect Israel.
Trump bragged and Brennan implied her support of perpetual war. Neither asked why the west created al Qaeda, “jihadists,” or ISIS.
The Trump regime has continued the crimes against Syria that Obama started. US bombings of my country are war crimes. US troops in my country are here, all illegal criminals.
The US tries to kill Syria with bombs and with starvation, putting us under the poverty level with criminal “sanctions.” Every day Trump’s US imposes more sanctions (the “S1” law that senators and congress are trying to pass would add even more), tries to destroy the Syrian currency.
Those of us who aren’t killed by the criminal foreign war imposed on Syria should be kill by hunger, poverty and diseases?
Greetings to Syria and our Army, our SAA which has fought to destroy the western created ISIS, to liberate our citizens. Greetings to Syrians who have being enduring and fighting against this unjust war since 2011.
Westerners, never believe your leaders. Don’t believe their lies. Say NO! to any war they plan to launch against another country under the fake pretexts of “democracy” and “freedom.”
And from Syria to Venezuela, we say “Que Viva Maduro!” and “Hasta la Victoria Siempre!”
And to Mr. Trump, we say, “Get out of our country, now!”
