Israel carried out its latest bombing against the Syrian capital Damascus late evening targeting an apartment building in a suburb inflicting material damage.
A Syrian military spokesperson said in a statement conveyed by the Syrian news agency SANA:
“At approximately 9:35 pm today February 28, the Israeli enemy launched an air aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting several points in the Damascus countryside. Our air defense media responded to the aggression’s missiles and shot down most of them, and the losses were limited to material losses.”
The statement did not elaborate on the damage inflicted on the targeted apartment building or the other sites that were targeted in this latest Israeli aggression.

Local sources shared footage as appears in the above video clip of firefighters trying to extinguish the inferno resulting from the bombing in the Sayyidah Zaynab suburb.
The US welfare queen also known as the ‘evil empire’s front outpost’ Israel is desperately trying to expand its war of genocide on Gaza to engulf the entire region hoping to drag in its Western sponsors into its wars after the humiliating defeat it is suffering in Gaza and the northern regions of occupied Palestine failing to achieve any of its set targets except for the genocide and ethnic cleansing of the ingenious Palestinian population, especially the women and children.
Israel’s army has proven that it’s incapable of fighting and only capable of killing from afar, that’s an existential threat not to the Jewish population in occupied Palestine and the Syrian Golan, the Jews throughout their history were more protected wherever Muslims were and whenever they were persecuted by the Christians especially during the pogroms, inquisition, and fascist eras across Europe, it’s the existential threat to the anti-Christ Zionist project.
Bombing its way out of the genocidal war is not going to help the anti-Jewish Zionist state of terror and war crimes, the criminals are already judged by the world’s civilizations.
Syria and the Syrian people continue to combat the US-sponsored proxy terrorist groups and the armies of the NATO ‘defensive’ alliance all over their country while preparing for the proper retaliation to the Israeli aggression once the Zionists cross the red line.
