Israel Bombs Damascus Murdering Two Civilians – Syrian MoD

Israel bombed the Syrian capital Damascus murdering two civilians, injuring a third, and inflicting damage to a residential building in an upscale neighborhood this morning. Syrian air defense foiled another Israeli bombing west of Damascus a couple of hours later.

A Syrian military spokesperson said in a statement conveyed by the Syrian news agency SANA:

“At approximately 9:40 this morning, the Israeli enemy launched an air attack with a number of missiles from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a residential building in the Kafr Sousa neighborhood in Damascus.
The aggression resulted in the death of two civilians, the wounding of another, and the causing of material damage to the targeted building and some neighboring buildings.”

Local sources reported hearing the sounds of four explosions confirming there are no Iranian IRGC anti-terror or military advisors residing in the targeted building which happens to be opposite a school and a kindergarten drawing attention that the students were frightened of the sounds of the bombings and the falling debris.

Multiple sources reported that a few hours after the first Israeli aggression, the Syrian Arab Army’s air defense units shot down several Israeli aerial targets without elaborating whether it was incoming missiles or drones.

The sources said that the targeted area was in the Al-Dimass area in the western countryside of Damascus, the same area that Israel targeted on the 10th of February.

Israel and its US-led Western sponsors are looking for any means to expand the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza to engulf more countries in the region in an attempt to save the Israelis from the quagmire they caught themselves in Gaza which also exposed the reality of the Western project dubbed Israel.

The Israelis, on their part, insist on repeatedly reminding the people of the region, the real Semites, of the true nature of these foreign settlers imported from Europe, Russia, and elsewhere to act as the forefront military base of the fading evil empire of lies, former colonialists, and hypocritical fake democracies in the West.
