Israel Bombs the Outskirts of the Syrian Capital Damascus

Israel carried out a new bombing against the outskirts of the Syrian capital Damascus late evening today, 21 October 2022, most of the incoming Israeli missiles were repelled.

A Syrian military spokesperson said in a statement conveyed by the Syrian news agency Sana:

At approximately 23.03 in the evening of Friday, October 21, 2022, the Israeli enemy carried out air aggression with missile bursts from the northeastern direction of Lake Tiberias, targeting some points in the vicinity of the city of Damascus. Our air defenses confronted the aggression’s missiles and shot down most of them.

Israel overwhelms the Syrian air defense by firing a large barrage of missiles, especially since they depend on the US taxpayers to cover the enormous cost of those missiles, therefore, some of the missiles reach their targets. The Syrian military spokesperson added in his statement that “the losses (from the missiles that escaped the air defenses) were limited to material damages.”

What does the US/ NATO/ Gulfies-sponsored Israel do when it’s in the bottleneck? They bomb a neighboring country. Just as Israel reached an agreement with Lebanon accepting not to steal further Lebanese riches, in this case, underwater gas from the eastern Mediterranean, under the threat of the Lebanese Hezb Allah, and as tensions continue to rise in the West Bank with the ongoing Israeli sniping of Palestinian youth and children, demolishing houses, desecrated the Al Aqsa Mosque to expand their illegal settlements, and after the humiliating defeat delivered to Israel single-handedly by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) in Gaza, they look to what they believe is the weakest member of the Resistance Axis and they bomb targets in Syria.

After 11.5 years of combating the US/ NATO/ Gulfies-created, funded, armed, trained, and politically and militarily sponsored largest terrorist army on the planet of Al Qaeda, its ISIS offshoot, and the plethora of its affiliated terrorist groups, Syria continues to prioritize eliminating the US’s most effective proxy armies of terrorists over tit for tat bombing with Israel as long as the Israelis do not cross red lines.

The US’s illegal military presence in Syria is being used to help Israel, al Qaeda, ISIS (ISIL – Deash), the Kurdish SDF separatist terrorists, and NATO member state Turkey to continue their attacks on the Syrian people.

In the meantime, Syria has and continues to support the resistance factions in Palestine and Lebanon by all means, and continues to build up its armed forces and depleted weaponry stocks for the main confrontation, a tit-for-tat escalation with Israel would give the anti-Jewish Zionist state and its western sponsors the air they desperately need to breathe out of their series of defeats in their war against Russia in Ukraine, the free fall of their economies leading to the series of their own self-inflicted regime changes, and the growing of the multipolar world rivaling the western dominance. Waiting for the western failure on the global front will save Syria a lot of effort in combating their forefront terrorist launchpad aka Israel.

All of the above factors can be ignored within a matter of minutes if the Israelis and their sponsors become overconfident and carry out what Syria would consider a tipping point then all options on the table will be used including the vaporizing of up to two thousand US soldiers within Syria’s borders, the cleaning of Idlib and encircling thousands of Turkish soldiers, and the war to free the Golan and push further to establish a buffer zone south of Lake Tiberias (wrongly called Sea of Galilee).

In the meantime, do let us know in the comments if you hear any condemnation by the United Nations Security Council, by the European Union, or by any country that is crying now about the Russian military operation in Ukraine for these repeated Israeli attacks against the sovereignty of Syria, an establishing member state of the United Nations.

Russia, Syria’s ally in the war against terrorism and in defending international law remains committed to the safety of Israel in its numerous official statements on every occasion and remains a party with Israel on “air activity over Syria” despite Israel being actively involved against Russia inside Russia itself and everywhere else including in the NATO war on Russia in Ukraine.
