Israel Bombs Posts in Damascus Outskirts, the 3rd time in a Week

Israel bombed the outskirts of the Syrian capital Damascus shortly after midnight, the bombing caused material damage, a military spokesperson said, this is the third Israeli aggression against the Syrian capital in one week.

A military spokesperson told the Syrian news agency, Sana:

At approximately 00.30 in the morning of today, October 27, 2022, the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression from the direction of the occupied Palestinian territories, targeting some points in the vicinity of the city of Damascus..

Some of the incoming Israeli missiles were shot down by the Syrian air defense, the military spokesperson said in his statement to Sana adding that “the losses were limited to material.”

This is the 3rd Israeli bombing of the outskirts of the Syrian capital, in the Israeli bombing on the 24th of the month, a Syrian army officer was injured and later succumbed to his wounds. The previous Israeli aggression was less than 48 hours before the last one and also inflicted material damage.

Israel submitted to the pressure of the Lebanese Hezb Allah last week in a deal to divide the gas fields in the East Mediterranean to preserve its own established fields after the chief of Hezb Allah vowed to destroy Israeli fields if Lebanon is not allowed to operate its fields; Syria has not started to flex its muscles in the region demanding its right to explore its gas as well and to liberate its gas and oil fields occupied by the US army.
