A child was murdered and two others were injured by a landmine explosion in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor province, in northern Syria in the morning hours of yesterday Wednesday 22nd of February.
The murdered child was 11 years old arrived dead body with shrapnels covering his head and abdomen, the two other injured are 11 and 13 years old, and one of the two injured is in critical status, the director of Al Assad Hospital in Deir Ezzor Dr. Mamoun Hamzah said in a statement carried by the Syrian news agency SANA.
The landmine was planted by the US-sponsored ISIS (ISIL – Daesh) terrorists in the Al Hussainiyah area in Deir Ezzor’s northern countryside.
Units of the Syrian Arab Army set a perimeter around the site of the land explosion awaiting the Engineering Corps to demine it, the SAA Engineering Corps are already overwhelmed handling the tens of thousands of landmines and IEDs (improvised explosive devices) planted all over the areas infested by the various US-sponsored terrorist groups across the country.
The USA not only is refusing to hand over the maps of the landmines and explosive devices its proxy terrorists planted, the consecutive regimes of Obama, Trump, and currently, Biden is impeding Syria’s ability to acquire the necessary tools needed to locate and defuse these killing devices.
US ‘diplomats’ are pressuring other countries and concerned international bodies including UNMAS, (United Nations Mine Action Service) not to cooperate with the Syrian state, the official policy of the USA and its European Union Minions is to exert maximum pressure on the Syrian people to push them to revolt against their own state in order to replace the Syrian government with the likes of the Ukrainian leader or other puppets in the region it can easily control.
US and EU blockade and illegal coercive measures dubbed wrongly as sanctions topped with the so-called ‘Caesar Act regime of sanctions against Syria’ are causing mounting difficulties for the Syrian state to provide basics for its people, the occupation of large parts of the country by the US Army and its proxy NATO forces including the Turkish army and the host of terrorist groups, the likes of Al Qaeda, ISIS, Kurdish SDF separatists are also adding more suffering to the Syrian people amidst complete silence of the hypocrite collective West, or maybe these are the ‘western values’ the west keeps on regurgitating.
