USA and UK Bomb Yemen to Aid Israel; Russia and China OK’D

A US-led new ‘coalition’ bombed sites in Yemen within its contribution to the Israel genocide of the Palestinians in Gaza, the Libya 2.0 would not have been possible without a resolution issued by the United Nations Security Council without objection from Russia or China, the 2 non-NATO UNSC members with veto power.

US and British forces carried out a new bombing campaign against multiple sites in Yemen, the US claims that its coalition comprises 10 countries: the USA, UK, Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, New Zealand, and South Korea, none of those countries is located anywhere near the Red Sea.

Fighter jets, cruise missiles, Tomahawks, and submarines from the USA in addition to 4 British fighter jets carried out the aggression targeting at least 12 sites in Yemen in 5 governorates: the Yemeni capital Sanaa, Hodeidah, Saada, Dhamar, Taiz, and Hajjah governorates.

A statement issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces said:

“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

“Allah says: ‘So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is with those who fear Him.’ [Quran 2:194]

The American-British enemy, in support of the ongoing Israeli atrocities in Gaza, has launched a heinous aggression on the Republic of Yemen with 73 airstrikes targeting the capital Sanaa, and the provinces of Hodeidah, Taiz, Hajjah, and Saada. These airstrikes have resulted in the martyrdom of five and the injury of six of our armed forces.

The American and British enemies bear full responsibility for their criminal aggression against our Yemeni people, and it will not go unanswered without retaliation and punishment.

The Yemeni Armed Forces will not hesitate to target sources of threat and all hostile targets on land and sea to defend Yemen, its sovereignty, and its independence.

This brutal aggression will not deter Yemen from its supportive stance for the oppression of the Palestinian people. The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm their commitment to preventing Israeli ships from navigating in the Arabian and Red Seas toward the occupied ports of Palestine.

Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. Praise be to Allah, the Lord, and Victory be to Yemen and all the free people of the nation.

The targeted sites detailed by Yemeni state news agency ‘Saba’ include 4 raids on the Al-Dailami Air Base next to Sanaa International Airport, the vicinity of Hodeidah Airport, areas in Zabid District in the coastal Hodeidah Governorate on the Red Sea, west of Yemen, and Kahlan Camp, east of the city of Saada in the north, in addition to the local Abs Airport in Hajjah Governorate, in the northwest, Taiz International Airport, and the 22nd Brigade camp in the Al-Hawban and Al-Janad areas, north of the city of Taiz, southwest of the country.

Saba news agency added that the above-mentioned targets were previously bombed by the Saudi coalition dozens of times, and it has been out of service since the beginning of the war on Yemen in 2015.

Yemen has earlier warned of any ‘US madness’ against it and advised US officials that if they are so concerned about lifting their blockade on ships heading to Israel, they can simply order Israel to stop its massacres in Gaza and uplift its inhumane siege on the strip that turned into a death camp.

After the US bombing, Yemeni sources vowed to retaliate at their chosen time and in a method they deemed suitable that would inflict the maximum harm to the aggressors, this can be interpreted in many ways including direct bombings of US and British military vessels and bases in the region, commercial ships belonging or heading to the USA, UK, and any of the countries that joined the US-led ‘coalition’ earlier exempted from the blockade, the bombing of corporations belonging to any of those countries in the region that are feeding the US and Israel’s war machines like the oil fields, for instance, or intensifying the bombing campaign against Israeli targets to include US targets within or heading to Israel, the Yemenis have a long list in their bank of targets the USA just opened for them.

Complicit Russian and Chinese role:

The USA and its new war ‘coalition’ failed earlier to obtain public consent from countries shoring the Red Sea to justify its bombing of Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt publicly rejected to join an earlier proposed US coalition, and attempts by the USA to persuade Somalia, Djibouti, and Sudan were fruitless that’s why it had to resort to the United Nations Security Council to obtain a resolution to cover its war on Yemen.

A United Nations Security Council Resolution paved the way for the USA and its so-called coalition to carry out its bombing of Yemen, the poorest country in the world which has endured over 8 years of bombing and blockade by the world’s superpowers and super-rich countries and is now being bombed to aid Israel in its genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians in Gaza.

On Wednesday 10th of January, a resolution without a number drafted by the United States was passed by the United Nations Security Council that ‘strongly condemns Houthi attacks on Red Sea shipping.’ The resolution was met with verbal objections by Russia and China who later abstained allowing the resolution to pass and giving the green light to the USA and its allies and stooges to carry out the bombing they have been long lusting for.

UNSC Resolution 1973 of 17 March 2011 paved the way for the invasion of Libya, the Resolution we were told at that time was passed due to the naivety of Russian President Medvedev who trusted the US-led NATO would abide by the resolution that was limited to calling for an immediate ceasefire and the establishment of a No Fly Zone over Libya, the US-led NATO took the liberty to interpret the Resolution to justify invading Libya and turning the Jewel of Africa to a failed state.

President Medvedev, rotating the Russian presidency with Prime Minister Putin 2008 – 2012, admitted it was a mistake trusting Russia’s ‘Western partners’ when abstaining during the UNSC vote to adopt Resolution 1973, President Putin admitted the same more than once, what is their justification now to allow the repeat of Libya 2.0?

The Chinese position is similarly weird, China also abstained during both UNSC Resolutions 1973 regarding Libya, and the latest non-numbered regarding the Red Sea. China also runs Israel’s main seaports and the Chinese decision-makers might believe that the USA wants to protect shipping routes protecting the Chinese businesses in Israel.

Both Russia and China gave the USA and its allies more justification to control a vital trade route and a chance to start a regional war both countries claim they want to avoid. However, their inaction regarding the ongoing Holocaust in Gaza by Israel is seen by the anti-Jewish Israel as an approval to its ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians.

All members of the United Nations Security Council who voted in favor or abstained during the voting of the Red Sea Resolution could lift the embargo imposed by Yemen by ordering Israel to stop the genocide, now they are all accomplices in aiding Israel in its war crimes and crimes against humanity and in bombing Yemen, as well as risking the regional war that only Israel needs and the rest of the world is worried about.

The bombing of Yemen only serves Israel’s criminal leaders, the weapon makers in the USA and its Western stooges, and the bankers funding the perpetual US wars around the globe.

All trade through the Red Sea is now effectively blocked after the blocking was limited to Israeli ships and ships heading to Israel through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait on the southern entrance of the Red Sea, if it’s not by the shipping companies avoiding the newly-created conflict zones, it will be by the increased cost of insurance on the ships going through that conflict zone harming directly the Europeans, British, and their clients in southeast Asia and the Arabian (Persian) Gulf.

US forces across the region are already bracing for the Yemeni retaliation, the countries that are helping the USA and in turn Israel in their war crimes against the people of the region should also be worried and bankrupt their treasuries to increase the security levels in their countries and in the region to the highest levels, the countries that are silent toward the genocide in Yemen should be ashamed of themselves, and those who abstained during the vote on the non-numbered UNSC Resolution have marked themselves unworthy of the trust to maintain security and peace in the world.

History tells us that Yemen has been invaded endless number of times but it has never been conquered, NATO leaders will relearn this fact in a harsh way.
