Syrian Army Destroys NATO’s Al Qaeda Dens in Idlib and Hama

Syrian Army's artillery shells NATO-sponsored al-Qaeda posts in Idlib countryside

Syrian Arab Army’s artillery pounded the dens of the NATO-sponsored Al Qaeda terrorists in the countrysides of Idlib and Hama provinces in northwestern Syria inflicting heavy casualties among the terrorists and destroying their fortifications, multiple sources confirmed.

In Hama province, the SAA (Syrian Arab Army) shelled with heavy artillery the dens of Al Qaeda Levant (aka Nusra Front – Jabhat Al-Nusra) in the vicinity of the village of Sarmaniya and Khirbet al-Naqous in the northwestern Al-Ghab Plain.

In the southern Idlib countryside, the SAA artillery destroyed the positions of the Al Qaeda Levant in the towns of Al-Fatira, Ehsim, Al-Bara, Balion, Sufuhn, and Benin in the Jabal Al-Zawiya area.

A local source explained that the army’s targeting of the terrorists’ sites came after terrorist groups from the so-called “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room, led by the Al-Nusra Front, attacked yesterday with rocket-propelled grenades on points in the Seam axes in the southern Idlib countryside sector of the ‘de-escalation’ zone, which necessitated the army to respond to them with artillery fire.

Simultaneously, coordinated Syrian and Russian Air Forces launched heavy strikes on several positions of the terrorist organizations in the countryside of Idlib.

A Syrian Arab Army source reported shooting down a drone belonging to the terrorist groups by targeting it with ground anti-aircraft on the axis of the city of Saraqib, south of Idlib.

In Homs Province’s eastern Badia, open desert, a local source, local sources reported that the SAA is continuing its extensive ground operations by combing the Baditi, Eastern Homs, and western Deir Ezzor sectors from ISIS cells.

The open desert connecting several Syrian provinces with the open deserts in Iraq to the east and Jordan in the south, both infested with numerous US Army bases, in addition to the illegal presence of the US Army on Syrian territories along with its proxy, the Kurdish SDF separatist terrorists, makes the hunting down of ISIS terrorists more difficult, but not impossible for the Syrian Arab Army.
