Syrian Arab Army units operating in Idlib and Russian air force targeting Turkey-sponsored Al Qaeda and ISIS-affiliated terrorist groups in the northwestern Syrian province earlier today, Thursday 24 December 2020.
The SAA units targeted gatherings of the terrorists in Kafar Aweed, Fatterah, and Sufuhon, west of Maarat Numan in the southern countryside of Idlib at 8:30 in the morning in retaliation for the indiscriminate shelling by terrorists of the Nusra Front, ‘Izzat Army’, and ‘NLF’ of the Jebala village, the SAA’s outposts in Maarat Alssin in Al Zawyiah Mountain, and Al-Malik Hills in Latakia countryside.
Nusra Front or Jabhat Nusra aka HTS and Al Qaeda Levant is the main arm of Turkey’s pariah Erdogan in Idlib followed by the NLF, a collection of anti-Islamic Muslim Brotherhood fanatics, while the so-called ‘Izzat Army’ is a US-taxpayers’ beneficiary.
The Syrian armed forces also targeted a vehicle driven by two terrorists with a Kornet missile near the Ghaniyah village in Al Ghab Plain injuring both terrorists inside it.
A Russian air force fighter jet bombed a gathering of Turkey-sponsored terrorists in the Al Kabbaneh area in the Akrad Mountain, Latakia countryside, in the early morning inflicting numerous casualties among the terrorist groups in the area and material damage in their quarters and gears.
In early March this year, a new agreement was reached between the Russian President Putin and the Turkish madman Erdogan within the framework of the Astana and Sochi agreements for a ceasefire in Idlib while Erdogan removes the terrorists he sent to the northwestern Syrian province. The agreement followed the heinous attack by the Turkish army against the Syrian Army and its Hezb Allah allies posts in Saraqib while they were fighting Al Qaeda terrorists in the city.
In the agreed new agreement the terrorists are excluded from the ceasefire, naturally, however, Erdogan, as his habit, instead of committing to the new agreement beefed up, again, his terrorists and sent more Turkish army reinforcements into Idlib violating Syria’s sovereignty which encouraged Al Qaeda’s affiliates and offshoots of the aforementioned groups to carry out their attacks against the liberated villages.
In response to previous attacks and breaching by Erdogan’s terrorists and in order to send a clear message to the Ottoman Sultan wannabe, the Russian air forces carried out a successful attack against a camp of one of Erdogan’s closest terrorist groups a so-called Faylaq Al-Sham, an offshoot of ISIS and its Turkish Muslim Brotherhood wing. The Russian air force bombing of the camp killed and injured at least 180 terrorists of this group in a clear message to Erdogan that the time is passing and he needs to commit to his obligations.
