Syria Severs Diplomatic Ties with Ukraine, Reciprocally

Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Damascus, Syria

Syria has announced severing all diplomatic relations with Ukraine in a reciprocal act after the latter severed its ties with Syria over Syria’s recognition of the two republics of Donetsk and Lugansk.

A Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement issued today, 20 July 2022 read:

“The Syrian Arab Republic decided to sever diplomatic relations with Ukraine, in accordance with the principle of reciprocity and in response to the decision of the Ukrainian government in this regard.”

The deteriorating of diplomatic relations with Ukraine has been escalating ever since the regime in Kiev (Kyiv) built closer ties with the US regional puppet and welfare queen, the Zionist state of Israel, and after Israel took over the task of running Ukraine through the billionaire handler of incumbent Ukrainian President Zelensky who happens to be a Zionist Jew supporting the radical Nazi groups in his country.

Zelensky has also placed people of his own, Zionist Jews, in key positions in the Ukrainian state including at least three ministers, a prime minister, and several mayors of major cities, who helped destroy their country from within serving the global Zionist agenda.

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement described how since 2018, the Ukrainian regime has worked to deteriorate the ties between the two countries by not renewing the diplomatic credentials for the Syrian embassy in Kiev:

“The Syrian Arab Republic states that the Ukrainian government has practically severed relations with Syria since 2018 when it refused to renew residency visas for Syrian diplomats working at the Syrian embassy in Kiev, which made it impossible for them to carry out their duties, and at that time the embassy was suspended as a result of the hostile attitudes of the Ukrainian government.”

Ukraine’s current regime and its predecessor post the 2014 US-engineered Maidan coup have also sided with its new patrons during the US-led war on Syria, especially in the international arena and most notably in the sessions of the United Nations Security Council discussing the situation in Syria. The recognition of the two republics of Donetsk and Lugansk was merely the straw that broke the camel’s back in this string of events.

We, Syrians, have close and friendly relations with the Ukrainian people, it’s evident recently by the warm hospitality the delegation from Donetsk received during their visit to Damascus and the same will remain and be extended to all Ukrainians who do not follow the Nazi agenda and those who will be liberated from the oppression of the western-controlled puppet regime in Kiev.

I didn’t know they stopped issuing visas for our mission there since 2018, there are so many Syrians living in Ukraine who need consular services, I hope a normal government takes power there and restore their relations with the normal world.
