US: Armed infighting intensifies between terrorist groups in Syria.

Yesterday, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has announced the return of the UN chemical weapons inspectors to Syria towards the parliament in Moscow and it seems that the UN chemical weapons experts are already on their way to the Syrian capital, Damascus.

According to the reports, a team of the UN chemical weapons inspectors has arrived in the capital of Lebanon and is en route to Syria in order to continue the investigation of the use of chemical weapons in other regions of the Arab country. It is not yet clear when the UN chemical weapons experts will travel from Beirut to Damascus but it could be that the UN team is already on the way to the capital in Syria. At least, the chemical weapons experts of the United Nations (UN) are expected to arrive in Damascus till today evening.

It is to hope that the UN chemical weapons inspectors are really able to continue the investigation in other regions of Syria and especially in such regions as the area of Khan al-Assal (Khan al-Asal), near the Syrian city of Aleppo. In March 2013, a group of terrorists has attacked Syrian civilians and soldiers in the area of Khan al-Assal and according to the investigation of samples from the place of attack by Russian experts, the terrorist groups has used Sarin nerve gas in this attack on Syrian civilians and soldiers.

However, it could be that some of the eyewitnesses were killed later in a planned massacre by the foreign-backed terrorists in order to eliminate the witnesses of the attack from March before any UN team arrives in Khan al-Assal and has the chance to interview them about the attack and the use of chemical weapons. Of course, if this is the case then it seems clear that the massacre was planned by the backers and supporters of these terrorist groups.

The UN chemical weapons experts will arrive in Syria’s capital Damascus today and probably continue the investigation of the use of chemical arms in the Syrian conflict tomorrow. However, there are not much details about the mission and schedules of the chemical weapons inspectors. Of course, for security reasons.

It is to expect that the mission of the UN chemical weapons experts will continue till the end of this week and that the experts of the United Nations (UN) will not only investigate the area of Khan al-Assal (hopefully…) but also an area in the countryside of the Syrian city of Homs. It might happen that the UN chemical weapons inspectors also investigate other areas in Syria but as said, there is not much known about the continuation of the UN mission in Syria.

In the meantime, a senior official of the US State Department has confirmed that the armed infighting between the different terrorist groups and the Al-Qaeda-affiliated jihadists has increased in Syria and even that the power struggles and related clashes between the different groups is still growing. According to the recent statements of several US officials, two groups of armed terrorists in Syria, which were fighting against the units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), have started to wage internal battles now, and the clashes between the different groups of terrorists are said to be very intense.

A senior US State Department official said in a statement that the intense battles are taking place between the Al-Qaeda offshoot “Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant” (ISIL) and the foreign-backed terrorists of the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA), which has recently published a joint statement with other terrorist groups in Syria. This joint statement by radical groups such as the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA), the Liwa al-Tawhid, and the Ahrar al-Sham said that the US-backed “Syrian National Coalition” (SNC) and the proposed government under Ahmad Tomeh does not represent them and that they do not recognize this “Syrian National Coalition“.

The senior official from Washington added that the current battles between the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) and the Al-Qaeda-linked “Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant” (ISIL) would be the most intense battles between such groups in Syria till today.

Afterwards, the senior US official from the State Department confirmed that the U.S. administration of President Barack Obama still tries to support the armed criminals of the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA), which already receives training and support (weapons, military aid, logistical support) by the United States – e.g. the CIA manages the arms supplies to the terrorists of the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA), which has rejected the staged political wing of the external “Syrian Opposition” (“Syrian National Coalition” / SNC) now.

The clashes and armed infighting (power struggles) between the different groups of terrorists and the Syrian Al-Qaeda offshoots are still increasing in the Arab country. The battles intensified recently, especially in the areas along the northern and eastern borders of Syria.

According to reports, the most armed infighting and clashes between the different radical groups happen due to different ideologies, rival claims over the control of areas and villages / towns in Syria, smuggling and other spoils of war.

The majority of these armed terrorist groups fighting in Syria against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the government of Bashar al-Assad in Damascus as well as against each other are not interested in the welfare of the Syrian people, but only in their benefits and the spoils after their occupation of villages or after the battles.
