Law enforcement authorities seized a large collection of weapons and munition in the countryside of Daraa, in southern Syria within its security operation throughout the past few days.
Based on the confessions of terrorists arrested in the security operation that led to the elimination of ISIS (ISIL – Daesh) Emir (prince) in the southern region, his military commander, and a number of their terrorists, the Syrian security forces seized their weapons and munition hidden in various locations in the western countryside of Daraa province.
The seized weapons and munition include RPGs (Rocket-propelled grenades) with their fillings, mortar shells, various ammunitions, and grenades.
Since 2015, the engineering corps of the Syrian Arab Army has been busy destroying weapons and munition seized from the terrorists in large quantities in all the provinces, most of those destroyed killing tools are new but are not used by the Syrian armed forces, and the engineering corps have run out of warehouses to store the quantities found.
The generosity of the taxpayers in the USA, European Union, and the Gulfies rulers have armed the plethora of terrorist groups of Al Qaeda, ISIS, and their affiliates with tons of very costly weapons and munition enough to arm the whole army of a medium-sized nation. It would have been better if the sponsors of those terrorists provided them with weapons and munitions that match the ones issued to the Syrian Army in order to be useful instead of destroying them.
Syria’s southern region comprising the provinces of Daraa, Quneitra, Sweida, and the southern areas of Damascus Countryside has witnessed an escalation in attacks by the remnants of ISIS terrorists who have moved to the zone protected by the US Army base in Al Tanf area on the Syrian – Jordanian and Iraq joint borders in the depth of the southeastern Syrian desert.

They have money to buy weapons to give it to terrorists to kill other people in other countries but they don’t have a small amount of that same money to finance their own healthcare, welfare, education or even basic infrastructure like the water crisis in Flint, Michigan as I am told by a relative who migrated to Michigan, she told me this story is still there for several years and they are saying there’s no funding for it!
