Syrian law enforcement agencies supported by the Syrian Arab Army’s artillery and local fighters eliminated a group of ISIS terrorists including two of their commanders in the city of Jassim, Daraa, multiple sources confirmed.

Shortly after noon today, Friday 14 October, a group of ISIS terrorists was spotted in the northern areas of the city of Jassim in the northern countryside of Daraa. A coordinated large-scale security operation was carried out against the terrorists, local sources reported.

The artillery of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) shelled the targeted area in the northern area of Jassim, agents of the Syrian security agencies raided the area and were supported by local fighters who joined the reconciliation process after the SAA cleaned the southern province of Daraa and turned from fighters for the US-sponsored terrorists into real patriots defending their people.

A Syrian security source confirmed the killing of the two commanders of ISIS in the attacks in a statement conveyed by the Syrian news agency Sana:

The competent authorities, in cooperation with local and civil groups and with the support of the Syrian Arab Army, carried out a security operation against the terrorist organization ISIS in the city of Jassim in the northern countryside of Daraa.

Two of the commanders of ISIS (ISIL – Daesh) eliminated in the security operation were named by the Syrian security source, those are, or were: A security source said that the clashes resulted in the killing and injuring of several ISIS terrorists including commanders two of who were identified as Ayoub Fadel Jabawi, nicknamed Abu Mujahid Barqa, and Ayham Faisal Halki, nicknamed Ayham Al-Faisal.

The Syrian authorities have sent reinforcements to the outskirts of the city of Jassim since early last month, September, in order to isolate the ISIS terrorists in the city’s northern suburbs and prevent them from carrying out terrorist attacks or relocating to other areas.

The clashes are still going on throughout the evening of Friday, local sources confirmed there are around 100 heavily armed ISIS terrorists holed in residential areas within the city’s northern suburbs.

After defeating ISIS and most of the Al Qaeda terrorist groups in Syria in 2019 by the Syrian Arab Army and its allies across the country, NATO forces spearheaded by the US and Turkish armies provided protection zones to the terrorists in the northern provinces of Aleppo, Raqqa, Deir Ezzor, and Hasakah, the Turkish army beefed up its invading forces mainly in the province of Idlib in northwest Syria to protect their proxy terrorists turning Idlib province into a fortified stronghold for Al Qaeda protected by NATO’s second-largest army, this what a former US official described the situation.

Meanwhile, the southern provinces of Daraa, Sweida, Quneitra, and large parts of the province of Damascus Countryside continued to witness organized terrorist attacks by ISIS remnants who fled to the so-called 55 kilometers zone protected by the US Army operating out of their illegal military base in the Al Tanf region in the depth of the southeastern Syrian desert at the joint Syrian – Iraqi – Jordanian borders junction.

Eliminating the ISIS terrorists in the city of Jassim will provide more safety and security to the Syrian people living in the southern provinces and would also deliver a severe blow to the Pentagon’s efforts in using ISIS in its proxy war in Syria and around the world for global hegemony.
