A Syrian Arab Army unit foiled yesterday an attack at one of the SAA posts northwest of Daraa city by a booby-trapped vehicle, the terrorist driver was killed.
SAA intelligence monitoring a booby-trapped vehicle driven by a US-sponsored anti-Islamic Wahhabi suicide bomber and heading towards an SAA post in the town of Bewidan 75 kilometers northwest of Daraa City.
The SAA unit ambushed the vehicle and destroyed it before it reached its target, the terrorist driving the vehicle was killed on spot.
The booby-trapped vehicle was coming from the Llujat area where terrorists from Nusra Front and ISIS operates. The US maintains an illegal presence at Tanf border crossing between Syria, Iraq, and Jordan and provides protection and supplies to terrorists from these tow organizations in the region.
Damascus-Suwayda Highway, near the site of the targeted attack, is operating normally and not affected by this operation. It’s the main highway connecting Suwayda province in the south of Syria with Damascus.
