Russia has expressed a strict condemnation of the car bomb attack which took place yesterday in Jaramana suburb of the Damascus countryside in Syria.

The statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry says that there is only one possibility, to condemn such terrorist bombings in all levels. This has not been the first bomb attack against the suburb of Jaramana (Jaramana city) near the Syrian capital, Damascus.

Therefore, the keyword “Jaramana Bombing” already exists at search engines and keyword suggestions, due to a very sad reason – the many attacks of the foreign-backed terrorists against the Christians and Druze who represent the main part of the citizens living in Jaramana.

The statement by the Russian Foreign Minister in response to the next “Jaramana Bombing” yesterday, which has caused the dead of 10 Syrian citizens, while 66 other civilians were wounded, expressed condemnation of the terrorist bombing and also called on all international partners of Russia to take a stance towards such terrorist attacks and other crimes of the terrorist groups in Syria and to forget about their double standards in regards of such crimes by the terrorist forces within Syrian borders.

The car bomb attack in the suburb of Jaramana took place on the al-Siyouf Square in Jaramana city yesterday. According to some sources, the al-Qaeda-linked Islamic State Organization in Iraq and Sham claimed responsibility for the car bomb attack in Jaramana city yesterday and has killed 10 Syrian civilians and injured further 66 citizens.

The statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry from today says further that Russia once again renews its calls upon all partners at the international arena and upon all the groups of the (so-called) external Syrian opposition to give a principle assessment in terms of all the crimes of the terrorist groups in Syria. It further calls upon all sides that are directly or indirectly involved in the conflict in Syria to avoid all “the double standards policy that would allow international terrorism to achieve its criminal goals” in Syria.

Moscow vehemently condemns this new terrorist attack against Syrian civilians in Jaramana city, near the Syrian capital Damascus. The statement by the Russian Foreign Minister further noted that this car bomb attack “clearly aims for revenge against the Syrian people who reject religious extremism in thinking and practice.”

As mentioned already yesterday after the sad next terrorist attack against Syrian civilians in Jaramana, Christians and Druze represent the main part of the citizens in this suburb near the capital, Damascus. In addition, the locals suffer under such terrorists attacks by the foreign-backed militants and jihadists since over a year and longer. The reasons? They oppose such religious fanatics and do not cooperate with the US-backed gunmen.

The statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry also noted that the car bomb attack in the suburb of Jaramana is considered an attempt to stoke “denominational tension” in the Syrian society. It further says that these terrorist attacks wilfully adds a sectarian character to all the conflicts in Syria.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also expressed condolences to all the Syrian families of the victims from yesterday’s next “Jaramana Bombing” and is wishing all injured that they will quickly recover.

I want to express my total dismay over events in Jaramana and in Syria in general and to convey a thought of peace, a hope for reconciliation between the parties leading to rebuild this beautiful country.
