At 6 am today April 6, 2013 a fire started at one of Riyadh city malls south of the city as activists reported, 12 firefighter squads failed to contain the fire before it destroyed the entire Haram Plaza Shopping Mall with estimated losses in material amounting to 1 billion Saudi Riyals ($272 million). No losses in lives reported officially.

Many pro NATO activists immediately went on the social media sites accusing the Syrian state in an attempt to capitalize on any crime anywhere in the world and to keep on following the steps of demonizing the Syrian state they failed so far with. However, an expat well familiar with the ‘familydom’ hinted to a refused marriage proposal to the daughter of one of the shop owners by one of the Al Saud 35,000 princes leading to the tragedy. We highly advise the readers not to trust rumors spread online and wait the ‘official’ investigations to be concluded.
Video released by activists in the ‘familydom’ (the entire country is named after the king’s family name) shows chaos and part of the fire, we sincerely hope the activist publishing this video online from Saudi isn’t persecuted by the Religion Police for not wearing a short dress, or whatever reason they deem suitable to keep people quiet:
