In the once free and pluralistic West, today only marginalized media dare to reveal what could be the very obvious: that Israel is committing a genocide against the indigenous population of Palestine, with Gaza being at the forefront.

For some years, I have made it a habit to check the national newspapers at a local store every Sunday. So today I went to the store to get some bread and then skimmed the newspaper headlines at the newsstand.
A picture on the front page of a newspaper caught my attention. It was showing a young boy in truly miserable condition. I then read the description:
“Marked by malnutrition: Eight-year-old Osama Al-Reqep at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis (May 1, 2025)”
I added this picture from the online edition to this article.
Then I read the headline of the article: „Murderous reasons of state
Gaza: Starvation deaths as a result of the Israeli blockade. German government continues to side with Israel against recognition of a Palestinian state.“
The impression of that truly striking picture of the young boy Osama mixed with the headline brutally reminded me that I am living in Germany where the regime of the US colony, illegally founded on German soil in 1949 since its very foundation always stood firmly with Israel (also illegally founded on foreign soil in 1948), supported the Israeli aggression against its Arab neighbors and, since its foundation 76 years ago, generously sponsors the Zionist entity as a retribution for a crime allegedly done by Germans against Jews more than 80 years ago. And not only that, the regime ruling Germany has always found it suitable to arm the Israeli criminal regime, by being supportive of the genocide that this murderous regime of an illegal entity founded on stolen land performs against the native population of that land for almost eight decades.
This armament, in turn, was always given on very favorable terms for Israel, which ultimately had to be financed by German taxpayers with their tax spending, and continues to be financed by them today. As the title says, the reason for the current regime in Germany to exist is to secure Israel. I leave it to you to answer the question whether or not this Raison d’Être is to be regarded as fully sufficient for a state to legitimize its very existence.
Then I checked the other mainstream newspapers for reports on this pressing issue and found (once again) that this marginalized Marxist newspaper is the only one that dares to report the obvious in appropriate terms. The author and the newspaper deserve our appreciation. One may ask why no news outlet run by the plutocracy reports on Gaza like this newspaper, not even reports on the plain facts at all, but keeps quiet about the very obvious.
As the mainstream press decided to keep the genocide performed by the illegal Zionist entity in Gaza from the attention of their readers (and same do those TV stations, which, of course only of pure coincidence are run by the very same plutocrats who own the newspapers), I had to pick the German Marxist daily newspaper „junge Welt“ to read about the very obvious fact of a genocidal war on children and women carried out by the Zionist entity on stolen Palestinian land.

“I have never felt so appalled. Children are starving. They are sinking, one after the other, like petals from a dying flower,” wrote Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur for the Occupied Palestinian Territories, on X on Friday night. Within 24 hours, nine more people starved to death in the Gaza Strip. This brought the number of deaths from starvation or malnutrition as a result of the Israeli blockade to 122 by Friday, including 83 children. According to the UN World Food Programme, almost a quarter of Gaza’s more than two million residents are suffering from famine-like conditions, with thousands acutely malnourished.
According to an appeal by 109 international aid organizations, they would have to watch as their own colleagues slowly starved to death or risked being shot in the lines for food. Journalists have to endure many hardships in war zones. “We are deeply concerned that the danger of starvation is now also part of the job,” news agencies AFP, AP, Reuters, and BBC News said on Thursday, expressing concern for their journalists in Gaza.
It is a man-made famine, part of Israel’s sadistic war strategy against the Palestinian civilian population, whose decimation and expulsion is not collateral damage but the goal. Even the US government has no evidence of systematic theft of aid supplies by Hamas, as Reuters reported on Friday, citing an internal analysis. Israel cites this claim as justification for handing over food distribution to a private organization run by US mercenaries, at whose distribution points more than 1,000 people have already been shot.
“The security of Israel is of paramount importance to the German government,” the German government reiterated on Friday in response to French President Emmanuel Macron’s announcement that he would recognize Palestine as a state in September, once again invoking the mantra of German national interest. It considers the recognition of a Palestinian state “one of the final steps on the path to achieving a two-state solution.” The German government does not dispute that Israel is systematically preventing this through the genocide in Gaza and the annexation of the West Bank, which has just been approved by the Knesset. However, international pressure and pressure from the population, 80 percent of whom are calling for an end to arms deliveries to Israel, is growing. According to Reuters, Chancellor Friedrich Merz plans to convene the security cabinet on Monday.

Here you have it in a nutshell.
In a short article published in a marginalized daily newspaper, the common German citizen is being delivered with valid information about
- The recent situation in Gaza,
- the dire consequences of Israel’s specific way of warfare (which the author, rightfully so, defines as genocide) of the Palestinians, which, concerning the Hague Convention on Warfare (1907), in itself is a war crime, and
- the vile role of the German regime in this genocide, a regime (installed by an alien entity on German soil) which not only provides massive support to a foreign political entity, but even more so, defines the preservation of the existence of this foreign political entity (regardless of its actions) as the reason for its own existence, as “reason of state.”.
What does this tell you about the character of the regime in Berlin?
This describes the setting of the complete misery that has befallen my once proud and free nation.
The fact that the vast majority of all news outlets here are complicit with the regime in Berlin (that acts as a poodle of the bloodstained Zionist entity in occupied Palestine) and – instead of doing their job and producing true and sound information for the public, hide the plain facts from the public could be a reason why still most Germans stay ignorant on the heinous crimes of the genocidal Zionist regime as well as on the true character of the regime that is ruling their own country.
Once Max Igan said: “If we don’t deal with this moral dilemma, the way of Palestine will be the way of the world.”
Today, I was given another reason why he will be proven right.
