bogdanov and brahimi discuss immediate halt of violence in syria

LONDON, (SANA)- Special Representative of the Russian President to the Middle East and Deputy Foreign Minister, Michael Bogdanov, on Thursday discussed with UN envoy to Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi, the immediate halt of violence and the start of a political solution to the crisis in Syria.

Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted at its official website that the meeting focused on the necessity of launching the Syrian internal dialogue with the participation of all sides according to Geneva Statement.
