Trump’s Golan Decision Unites Syrians All Over the Country Against it

sweida protest Trump's Golan decision

The declaration of the head of the junta in control of the White House to consider the occupied Golan as an Israeli territories against international law, United Nations Security Council Resolutions, and against nature itself, has united the Syrian people all over Syria in condemning that blatant violation of their country’s sovereignty.

Crowds took to the streets in standing protests in a number of Syrian cities as per SANA, Syria’s official news agency, which also shared pictures of the protests and would later on release video reports.

Despite their suffering still recovering from the horrors of the US-sponsored terrorist attacks during the past 8 years, and the shortages in essentials due to the severe sanctions imposed on the Syrian people by the USA and its cronies, the Golan for them proved to be a red line.

The crowds vowed to restore the Golan from the Israeli occupation, as well as the last bastions of US-sponsored terror in Syria in Idlib, Tanf and in northeast of the country.

The unified message is condemning Trump’s decision, holding on Syria’s integrity and unity, and swearing at the Zionist tool Trump.

Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Walid Moallem called the US president Trump as a ‘Pirate’ during a phone call with a Syrian news channel.

Trump’s decision would only increase the isolation of the United States of America in the world, and will have no affect on the status of the occupied Golan.

Moallem added: Nobody can predict what this ‘pirate’ is doing, he and his administration have proved to be an instability factor for teh international peace and a hegemony factor for the international community.

‘He (Trump) started with al-Quds (Jerusalem) and its Judification, but in the Golan he cannot do a thing, the land is the property of its owners the Syrian people, and nobody, however long it might take, can change this reality.’ Mr. Moallem concluded.

Earlier, the Syrian Ambassador to the United Nations Dr. Bashar Jaafari condemned Trump’s decision and described it as a ‘Flagrant Violation, Contempt for International Law‘ when it was still a tweet.
