The Golan Was Sold With a Forged Certificate of Good Conduct

Golan sold to Israel -Trump meets head of Al Qaeda HTS and former deputy head of ISIS in Syria Al Jolani in NATO summit, Turkey

As a Syrian human being resisting the American schemes of evil, I will not let myself become a false witness to this history so full of forgery. This page, these words, these tears of mine right now, are perhaps the only defense I have that I reject everything happening in my country.

Yesterday, on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Turkey, Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, Syria’s interim president, was summoned along with his foreign minister Abu Aisha al-Shaibani by Trump. The meeting took place, and with it came a recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan, in exchange for a forged certificate of good conduct..

Trump sent an official letter to Syrian president Ahmad al-Sharaa (Abu Mohammad al-Jolani), notifying him that formal procedures had begun to remove Syria from the list of “State Sponsors of Terrorism,” a designation Washington has imposed since 1979.

Trump said:

“I promised to remove all the obstacles preventing you from rebuilding your country, and very soon you will finally be able to do that.” He affirmed that American companies are ready to invest in Syria the moment the procedures are complete, while Congress has 45 days to review the decision before it becomes final.

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the step, calling it the closing of a “dark chapter” in the country’s history, and a gateway for the return of banking transactions and the attraction of international investment.

And I say: this same talk has been repeated over and over since the fall of the previous ‘regime’, the handover to al-Jolani, and the consolidation of his rule over Syria.. about the lifting of sanctions and all the rest of it..

The lie that global and Gulf media kept repeating, that Hafez al-Assad sold the Golan to Israel, has now been exposed for everyone to see.. But is there anyone apologizing for that lie?? Let’s take a quick look at the details of what’s happening in Syria, and to its people, during this one year and seven months.

After the lifting of sanctions and the pouring in of investments from the Gulf states into Syria, on paper.. the dollar exchange rate climbed back to where it was before the fall of the previous ‘regime’, back when sanctions were at their harshest.. poverty among the people increased, and the economic class divide widened..

Yes, al-Jolani’s government did raise salaries, but only after firing 60% of the employees from minorities in Syria, so they wouldn’t be able to get money or live on even the most basic means..

Yes, electricity became available, but at fantasy prices, beyond what any citizen without a high income could afford.

Al-Jolani’s government has gone out of its way to discriminate between citizens, the exact opposite of what it keeps declaring publicly.

The Syrian people are a people of farmers who went back to their land and planted it with wheat, but hundreds of fires were recorded, devouring thousands of hectares of agricultural land, so that the citizen’s bread would stay hostage to imports, bought at the highest prices.

This year, al-Jolani’s government seized control of every oil field in the country. And yet the citizen still buys it at the world price. Which then drove up the price of everything else.

As for security, and this is the most important part, since Syria’s name was removed from the terrorism list: Last week alone, 10 bombing incidents were recorded in Damascus. One of them was near French President Macron, who was visiting al-Jolani to hand him his certificate of absolution.

But the most violent of them was at the Justice Palace, where 10 lawyers were killed and 20 injured.

Are these not terrorist bombings, or are they candles being lit for Syria’s liberation from terrorism??

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights records individual killings on a sectarian basis every single day.. is this terrorism, or is this peace??

The case of the kidnapped Alawite women has reached the highest levels globally, backed by documents.. is this terrorism, or is it some other kind of love??

Thanks to Syria News for allowing me to speak, and a bigger thanks to Arabi Souri, Stefan Heuer, Mire Wood, and the others.
