DAMASCUS, (SANA) – Patriarchal Syriac Mar Afram Choir staged on Thursday a Christmas evening at the Lady Church in Damascus, including Christmas prayers and meditations for peace in Syria.
The choir performed Christmas psalms and poems from Damascus which is “the city of the Joy of God” according to the Holy Bible. The choir was established in 1980 by Patriarch of Antioch and all the East, Mar Ignatius Zakka I Iwas.
