Istanbul, Turkey: Police Fired Water Cannons and Tear Gas at Protesters

The Turkish police has injured several peaceful protesters in Istanbul yesterday by using water cannons and tear gas to drive away the demonstrators from the Taksim Square and the Gezi Park in the famous Turkish city. Some hours before, the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan (JDP/AKP) has demanded the square and park to be “evacuated”.

The peaceful Turkish protesters in Istanbul at the Gezi Park and the Taksim Square claim multiple injuries after the Erdogan police forces have fired water cannons and tear gas on them in order to drive them away from both locations in Istanbul.

Several injured protesters had to be taken away in ambulances as it is confirmed by correspondents from Russia Today (RT) in Istanbul. The peaceful crowd in both locations in the beautiful Turkish city of Istanbul was chanting phrases like “Everywhere is Taksim, everywhere is resistance” was sent scrambling by the police forces who followed the direct orders of the Erdogan regime.

This was the latest escalation of the tensions in Turkey which are still continued and the anti-regime / anti-government demonstrations last longer than two weeks already and are increasing, which is no surprise. The Turkish people finally have the balls and will to stand up for their rights, demands and future.

In addition, many of the protesters know about the hypocritical policy of the Erdogan government and its party since years and that the trouble with the Zionist regime in Israel was just carried out for the show.

Not to mention that many also know about the terrorists and fighters that are hosted with the direct support of the Erdogan regime near the Turkish border to Syria, while it is clear that the current regime in Turkey willfully allows foreign special services and agents to do what they want near the border and support the arms delivery to these jihadists and gunmen near the border to Syria, knowing that these religious fanatics and thugs are also a threat for the peaceful Turkish people who are living in these areas of Turkey.

Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan, whose days are hopefully counted, has warned the peaceful protesters in Istanbul some hours before the police forces used water cannons and tear gas and injured several Turkish citizens of Istanbul that they should leave the locations immediately before a ruling regime party rally happens today (Sunday) or they would “face eviction by the security forces”.

The Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan used the following threat in direction his own Turkish people who are protesting peacefully for better living conditions and partly understandable demands:

“We have our Istanbul rally tomorrow. I say it clearly: Taksim Square must be evacuated, otherwise this country’s security forces know how to evacuate it.” (Erdogan)

The rally of supporters of the current Turkish regime under Erdogan is nothing else than a rally of paid and uneducated, too religious fools and so-called supporters and people who want to ensure that their current living conditions and membership of the better social classes are safe and protected.

Of course, due to the lack of education and due to the fact that many people are blindly following the policy of Erdogan because he is using the religion since years in order to carry out his hypocritical policy, there are many so-called supporters of the current regime in Turkey.
