Damascus Bombing Was a Failed Assassination Attempt

A twin explosions rocked the Syrian capital late in the evening one day before the great standing of Arafa in Mecca before Muslims Eid Adha. The explosions were followed by a mortar shelling of the Omayyad Square at the entrances of the Syrian state TV, Radio and media compound.

The explosions caused material damage as initial reports suggested, although they were severe and most likely caused by suicide terrorists detonating their booby trapped cars. The target is said to be Mr. Omran Zo’bi, the Syrian Minister of Information, the official Syrian government spokesperson and the man heading the Syrian media policy and official bodies.

We still need to await further confirmation in the regards of the target. The explosions were heard all over the city. The compound targeted hosts the country’s main satellite transmission antennas.

Syrian media was systematically targeted throughout the western sponsored ‘public uprising’ by the imported Wahhabi terrorists against the Syrian people, their army, their state, their heritage and their infrastructure. Yara Abbas, Maya Nasser, Mahmoud Saeed and many other journalists were assassinated even foreign journalists working in Syria and not parroting the western mainstream media narrative were either killed or threatened. Syrian activists like the writer of this post was also threatened with his family and ‘freedom fighters’ destroyed his family’s summer home in Damascus countryside after stealing it and sent a message with neighbors, which forced me to use an alias since over 2 years. So many activists, even actors were also killed by the Wahhabi terrorist groups which western regimes like the US, UK and French keep praising, funding, arming and supporting.
