Official sources initially believed the explosion to be a terrorist attack. Upon investigation of the Syrian Arab Army Military Police, the cause was discovered to be one of “human error,” later confirmed by the Syrian News Agency, SANA.
Ten injuries arrived at the public and private hospitals in the city of Homs, the injuries were from shrapnel shattered from the explosion at the military site, Dr. Hassan Jundi Director of Homs Health Department stated.
The death toll has not been released at the time of this 2 May update.
