When Google has released the latest Android version 4.3 Jelly Bean some days ago together with the second generation of the ASUS / Google Nexus 7 tablet and such an interesting small thing as the Chromecast dingle, Google’s AirPlay competitor for just $ 35, some users have certainly gain root access on their devices after the upgrade to Android 4.3 by using the SuperSU tool from Chainfire.

The second step might have been by some users to try to restore their previously installed Apps in the new Android version by using the already well-known Titanium Backup App from the Google Play Store.

However, this did not work before the release of the latest version of Titanium Backup and the list of the backups of the Apps under Titanium Backup just showed a blank screen in the previous version under Android 4.3.

The latest version of Titanium Backup features the initial support for Android 4.3 Jelly Bean as well as several bug fixes such as the fixed support for Android 1.5, which was broken in the last Titanium Backup 6.0.5.1 version. Further compatibility for Android 4.3 on all devices will sure come soon in subsequent updates of Titanium Backup in the Play Store of Google.

Along with the integration of the support of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, also some further features have been merged into the new Titanium Backup version in the Play Store. The user is now able to specify the power conditions on scheduled jobs under Titanium Backup and as stated, beside the initial support for Android 4.3 Jelly Bean also the option of data exclusion for the Media Storage such as the cache of the gallery has been added and this option of Titanium Backup is enabled by default after the upgrade or installation of the latest Titanium Backup version in the Google Play Store.
