NATO terrorists continue to harvest innocent souls in liberated areas long after they’re defeated, their latest victims are a small family, the father, the mother, the little daughter killed, the son maimed with a landmine explosion in central Syria.
The landmine explosion instantly killed the three members of the family, the father in his fifties, the little daughter was only 5 years old, the son was given first aid at the National Hospital of Tadmor before rushing him to the main hospital in Homs for further treatment, the Syrian news agency SANA reported.
This war crime and great loss took place in the Western Bayarat area to the west of the city of Tadmor (Palmyra) in the eastern Homs countryside, the landmine was planted by the US-sponsored ISIS terrorists before they were defeated in this area by the Syrian Arab Army and its allies in 2016.
Combing and demining massive areas need enormous efforts and resources, the Syrian Army’s Engineering Corp is doing its level best but the task is overwhelming, allies and friendly countries extended some help, but without real engagement from UNMAS, the United Nations Mine Action Service, and without the mines and explosives maps, it is a mission impossible especially that the United States of America and its NATO allies are impeding the progress in demining the previously occupied areas by the terrorists they sponsored by not sharing the maps of the explosives planted and by hindering Syria’s efforts to import the needed equipment in this task.
In August 2019, the Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that sappers of the Russian Army have cleared more than 6.5 thousand hectares (about 25 square miles) removing and dismantling 105 thousand mines and explosive devices. The area cleared included some 17,000 buildings and facilities.
Armenia extended help to the Syrian Army’s Engineering Corp clearing the town of Al-Zara’a in the southern Aleppo countryside, they cleared an area of 5 hectares (51,334 square meters).
This latest massacre comes less than 10 days after 6 children were maimed by a landmine explosion in Handarat Camp in the northern Aleppo countryside.
