Syrian Army: Further Military Operations in Central Syria

Syrian Arab Army

Syrian Army: More gains in clearing the country of terrorists.

While the secular Syrian government has condemned the decision by the Obama administration in Washington to let the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), which is linked to Al Qaeda, send more weapons and military aid to the foreign-backed terrorists and Islamists fighting against the secular government of President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus, the units of the Syrian Arab army (SAA) have carried out new successful military operations in the Arab nation – especially in central Syria around the area of the city of Homs.

Yesterday, several units of the Syrian Arab army (SAA) have made more gains in the cleaning of the country of foreign-backed terrorists and the soldiers of the Syrian army were able to inflict heavy losses on the jihadist and terrorist groups.

In the Syrian city of Homs, the units of the Syrian army were able to kill a huge number of foreign-supported terrorists. After the clashes and elimination of a large number of terrorists in the city of Homs, the soldiers of the army have destroyed the weapons of the foreign-supported Islamists and gunmen. The mop-up operations took place in the neighbourhoods of Bab Hood, al-Warsheh, Joret al-Shayyah, al-Qusour, al-Hamedieh, and also again in al-Khalidieh in the city of Homs, yesterday.

In addition, several units of the Syrian Arab army (SAA) were able to again dismantle some improvised explosive devices in the western city of Homs. The terrorists have planted these improvised explosive devices in several streets and buildings in this area of Homs in order to target the soldiers of the Syrian army when they are able to advance into these streets but the plan of the terrorist groups did not work. The soldiers of the Syrian army were able to dismantle dozens of those improvised explosive devices.

Beside the cleansing operations and clashes in central Syria, especially in and around the Syrian city of Homs, further units of the Syrian Arab army (SAA) carried out mop-up operations in the north of the country. In the countryside of Idlib (Idleb), some units of the Syrian army have cleared the small village of Misbin, which is located near Ariha in the countryside. The soldiers of the army killed several armed terrorists and destroyed a hideout of the foreign-backed terrorists that was used by them to make explosive devices.

In the Syrian capital Damascus, some troops of the Syrian army have successfully carried out several mop-up operations. In Daraa, the units of the army were able to kill many members of the foreign-supported terrorists and jihadists, while further gunmen were injured in the clashes. The same applies for the military operations by the Syrian army in the region of the Syrian city of Hama. There, several armed terrorists were killed during the military operation.

The military operations by the Syrian forces were again successful yesterday. After the Syrian army established the control over the strategically important town of al-Qusayr with the help of Hezbollah fighters near the border to Lebanon in June, the offensive is still continued and the units of the Syrian army carried out many successful military operations since the events in al-Qusayr in early June.

The foreign-backed terrorists of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) are desperately calling for new weapons and support because they have currently no chance in the clashes against the Syrian Arab army (SAA). The terrorist groups of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) have even no chances in the armed infighting against the Syrian Al Qaeda offshoot, the Jabhat al-Nusra (al-Nusra Front).

The Syrian Al Qaeda branch became very powerful in recent months due the support of foreign powers and this is the reason why the most weapons, which are sent to Syria by foreign powers, will land in the hands of Al Qaeda and not in the slightly more secular hands of the terrorists and criminals from the FSA.
