While the Israeli ambassador has threatened that the Israeli regime will again carry out military strikes against Syria and that it will attack the sovereign Arab nation in the case if there are further “provocations” by the Syrian government under Bashar al-Assad in Damascus, the Permanent Representative of Syria to the United Nations, Bashar al-Jaafari, warned that the occupation of the Arab territories by Israel has reached a dangerous stage.

Syria’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Bashar al-Jaafari, said in a new statement about the Israeli occupation of Arab territories that this occupation by Israel and the repercussions on the complete status of security and stability in the Middle East has already “reached dangerous stages” in the terms of the international inability to force the Israeli regime to end its illegitimated occupation of the Arab territories and to implement the relevant international resolutions.

Meanwhile, further battles and clashes have taken place in northern Syria, very near to the Syrian border with its neighbouring country Turkey. Of course the new clashes took place in the region of the Syrian border town Ras al-Ayn (sometimes also called Ras al-Ain or Ras al-Ein).

The new clashes broke out between some groups of Kurdish fighters, alleged linked to the Democratic Union Party (Kurdish: Partiya Yekîtiya Demokrat / PYD, currently not officially registered as a political party in Syria), and the jihadists of the Syrian Al-Qaeda offshoot(s) near the border with Turkey, as it was to expect.

The Kurdish fighter groups oppose the foreign interference in Syria, while the clashes between these Kurdish groups and the Syrian Al-Qaeda branch near the Turkish border are nothing new anymore. These clashes are taking place since weeks now and have already caused the death of more than 60 people.

The new clashes between the Kurdish fighters and the Al Qaeda-linked jihadist groups took place in the northern province of Raqa, directly on the Syrian border with the neighbouring country Turkey.

According to the reports about the clashes in northern Syria, a large number of Al-Qaeda-linked terrorists and Islamists have died over the past days in these clashes with the Kurdish fighter groups.

After the Kurdish fighters have taken the control above an important checkpoint, which was previously controlled by the terrorists of the Syrian Al-Qaeda offshoot(s) on July 21, the Kurdish groups have currently the control about this key checkpoint and the previously taken town of Ras al-Ayn (Ras al-Ain).

The Turkish army has already threatened to respond to fire from Syrian soil and the number of Turkish soldiers and army units has been increased by the Turkish government at the border to Syria in recent days.

According to several recent events in the border area between Syria and Turkey, it is to assume that the Turkish army units rather help the Syrian Al-Qaeda branch than the Kurdish fighters.

For example, it is said that some Turkish units have already fired at a group of Kurdish fighters on Syrian soil in recent days, while they seem to support the jihadist units of the Syrian Al-Qaeda branch. This would not be a really surprising move by the Turkish ruling party under Prime Minister Erdogan.
