Syria: UK makes U-turn – No Weapons for Jihadists

According to reports about the arms deliveries to the terrorists and jihadists fighting in Syria against the secular government of President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus, the British Prime Minister David Cameron is said to have finally made the decision that no more weapons will be supplied by Britain to the armed militants in Syria and it is also stated that the successes of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) forces the U-turn of Britain’s stance in regards of the arms supplies into the hands of the terrorists in Syria. Thus, no weapons for jihadists by the UK? Mh.

Of course, after the increasing power and presence of the Syrian offshoot of Al Qaeda in Syria and the increase of Islamist terrorism and violence in Syria and under consideration of the “problems” in Britain with some of these jihadists  and the jihadist-travellers from Britain in Syria, which will sure come back to the UK after they fought a little bit alongside the Al Qaeda-linked groups in Syria, it seems logical that David Cameron lost his interest to obey the orders of his masters and lost his intention anymore to send further weapons into the hands of the Al Qaeda-linked groups and jihadists in Syria.

According to the reports, based on the information by a source that is said to be very close to the British Prime Minister David Cameron, the Prime Minister of Britain has already confirmed that the UK has stopped the plans to deliver further weapons and military aid to the foreign-backed militants and terrorists in Syria after they were “warned about the strength of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA)”.

It is stated that several military chiefs in Britain have warned the British Prime Minister Cameron that the recent successes of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) units against the foreign-backed terrorists and jihadists means that even when Britain will send weapons and so-called military aid into the hands of these terrorists that it is very unlikely to make a huge difference to change to outcome of the recent battles in favour of the foreign-backed jihadists and FSA terrorists.

Of course, there is also another reason why Britain certainly stopped its plan to further arm the terrorists in Syria.

The Al Qaeda-linked groups in Syria became very powerful after the (finally ended) support by the United States and its intelligence such as the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the current situation is the problem for the United States and its allies in the Middle East and Europe that the more secular “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) has no chance to retake power and areas from the Syrian Al Qaeda offshoot.

The Al Qaeda branch in Syria, first supported by the United States, Israel and their typical allies in Europe and the Middle East, became very powerful and almost win in every upcoming and new battles between them and the groups of the terrorists of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) that is still supported by the foreign powers and has already received new and modern rockets and guns in the last two weeks by foreign governments.

The British military officials (from the National Security Council) warned David Cameron that an intervention in Syria by the implementation of a so-called no-fly zone could lead to a total war with Syria and its allies such as Iran or even Russia.

In addition, the strength of Syria’s air defences and its special forces will cause serious problems for several NATO countries and their air forces if they really would begin to wage an official and real war against Syria.

This decision of the British Prime Minister David Cameron is an interesting U-turn and probably confirms such reports and information that we have published, for example, here.

Nice to see that someone in UK has grown a couple of functioning brain cells. Well, Libya is still knee deep in weapons, so I’d guess that a lot of ’em will be showing up in Syria. I have to wonder if there’s some good reason why SAA doesn’t use captured enemy weapons? Military gear and weapons are horrifically expensive, so if the guerillas are using weapons that match SAA inventory, the Syrian government could save a whole bunch of money. Wouldn’t it be a hoot if the guerillas were re-equipping and re-supplying the SAA? I think I’d laugh myself silly. Good work, SAA, and good hunting.
