SAA Eliminates a Number of Nusra Front Terrorists Northwest of Syria

SAA Syrian Arab Army

Syrian Arab Army (SAA) units securing the areas in the north of Hama’s countryside, south of Idlib province, retaliated against Nusra Front terrorists breaching the Astana (Idlib) Agreement.

An SAA unit destroyed a 4 x 4 machine-gun mounted pickup vehicle moving on a side road in Rajm Qat town in Idlib southeastern countryside. The vehicle was moving towards a Syrian military post and was carrying a number of terrorists. The vehicle and its cargo were deleted.

Another Syrian Arab Army unit carried out a barrage of surgical bombing against quarters and dens of terrorists in Kafr Zita town. The town is infested largely with Izzat Brigades, a terrorist groups affiliated with Al-Qaeda FSA.

The SAA unit used artillery and missiles against the terrorists’ fortifications in the town. A number of them were eliminated and large parts of their barricades were destroyed.

Earlier, the SAA units targeted terrorists from the joint anti-Islamic Wahhabi groups of Nusra Front and Turkestan Islamist Party in the vicinity of Mmorek, Kafr Zita, Latamneh, Jibeen, Hassraya, and Sheer Mghar towns and villages in Hama northern and northwestern countryside.

Turkish pariah Erdogan and his regime has largely failed to meet their obligations based on the Astana Agreement to separate the radical terrorists from the moderate terrorists in the province of Idlib, instead, the NATO member-state of Turkey increased their support to Al-Qaeda terrorists in the areas under its occupation with weapons, munition, communication devices, suicide bombers, and logistics, which resulted in an escalation of terrorist attacks against Syrian towns and Syrian military posts in their reach.

Erdogan was supposed to conclude the sorting of his loyal terrorists by mid-October last year under the Astana Agreement, and as per the Russian and Iranian guarantors. He has been generously granted consecutive extensions to the deadline by Russia on the account of the Syrian civilians, Syrian military servicemen and even Russian military bases operating in Syria. The recent escalations seem to be the way Erdogan is celebrating receiving the Russian S400 air defense missiles from Mr. Putin.
