Moscow demands censure of the mass killing of Syrian Kurds by terrorists in northern Syria.

While some sides have stated that the massacre against at least 400 Syrian Kurds, including about 120 children, by foreign-supported terrorists has not really taken place in northern Syria, the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov (Sergey Lavrov) has mentioned the mass killing of Syrian Kurds by the foreign-supported terrorists in Syria today at a joint press event with Ghana’s Foreign Minister.

The statements by the Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov let assume that the massacre against the Syrian Kurds in northern Syria has probably really taken place (sadly).

At least, the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov would not have mentioned this mass killing of Syrian Kurds, including about 120 children and many Kurdish women, by the Syrian al-Qaeda offshoot (al-Nusra Front / Jabhat al-Nusra) in case the reports about this next horrible massacre by foreign-supported jihadists and terrorists on Syrian soil would be false and not true. In addition, Russia should know whether such reports and massacres are true or false, to be honest.

In his joint press event with Ghana’s Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov said that he demands the “unambiguously” censure from the UN Security Council (UNSC) in terms of the recent mass killing of Syrian Kurds by foreign-supported militants in northern Syria, and thus, Moscow has publicly reacted to the massacre against some 450 Kurdish civilians in northern Syria by the armed jihadists of the so-called al-Nusra Front (Jabhat al-Nusra / Syrian Al-Qaeda branch). According to the first reports about the slaughter of so many innocent Syrian Kurds in northern Syria, many children as well as many women were massacred by the armed jihadists group that is linked to Al Qaeda.

The Foreign Minister of Russia, Sergei Lavrov, further stated at this joint press event with his counterpart from Ghana, that the “international community” must send a “clear and unambiguous message” in order to condemn the slaughter of civilians in Syria by the foreign-backed terrorist forces that oppose the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his secular government in the capital, Damascus.

Lavrov said further that this has not been the first report of such a horrible massacre, perpetrated by the terrorist forces in Syria. However, the ongoing violence on Syrian soil is finally going off the scale, according to Russia’s Foreign Minister, who also mentioned the latest car bomb attack in an already known suburb of Syria’s capital, Damascus. This must, so Lavrov at the press conference, be stopped immediately.

He said further that the position of some members of the UN Security Council (UNSC) is absolutely unacceptable. Lavrov has meant several members of the UN Security Council who are obviously disinclined to condemn the terror attacks in Syria that are perpetrated by the foreign-supported terrorist groups.

Sergey Lavrov said this at the press conference, for example:

“We saw before some Security Council members reluctant to condemn terror attacks in Syria on the grounds that – as cynical as it sounds – those attacks are being carried out by the people fighting against an obsolete regime. (…) This position is absolutely unacceptable. No double standards can be applied to terrorism.”

Lavrov: Opposition should care about Syrians, not about power grabbing.

The Russian Foreign Minister has then reiterated the Russian call on several members of the so-called international community of values but also on the external and staged “Syrian opposition” to participate at the upcoming peace conference on Syria in Geneva (Geneva II) in order to find a peaceful resolution for the Syrian crisis and to exert more pressure on the “opposition forces” on Syrian soil.

He hopes, so Lavrov at the joint press event with the Foreign Minister from Ghana, that those powers with influence over the “Syrian opposition” / “opposition forces” make them realize that they should start to think about their country (Syria) and the fate of all the Syrians rather than to continue their attempts of taking the power in the Arab nation.
