US Republican: US Evidence Against Syria is Pretty Thin

Collin Powell showed evidence that were completely invented.

Russia: Washington is fuelling the tensions in the Middle East.

The Russian administration in Moscow has announced that a parliamentary delegation will travel to Washington in order to conduct talks on Syria with the members of the US Congress. Further, Moscow said in recent remarks in terms of the US warships near the Syrian coast in the Mediterranean Sea that the deploying of warships near the Syrian coast by Washington would only fuel the tensions in the Middle East and increase the current turmoil in terms of a possible US-led military strike on Syria.

The Russian government has slammed the US administration of President Barack Obama for deploying US warships to the Mediterranean Sea and near the coast of Syria. According to the statements by Moscow, such an action only fuels the tensions in the region and are not helpful to find political solutions for the Syrian conflict and to avoid any kind of military actions.

Meanwhile, a Republican lawmaker from Texas, the Representative Michael Burgess, said already on Monday in a new statement that the evidence that were shown at a classified briefing on last weekend by the US administration of Barack Obama in terms of the alleged chemical weapons use by the Syrian government near Damascus were “pretty thin.”

The US Representative Michael Burgess said yesterday that he has seen the evidence at the classified briefing in regards of the intentions of the US administration to launch a military intervention in Syria on the pretext of the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government in Damascus against their own people and that the evidence, mentioned in the classified documents, were pretty thin.

This statement by the Republican lawmaker from Texas about the evidence of the US administration under Barack Obama for their claims against the Syrian government that it has used chemical weapons (poison gas / e.g. Sarin nerve agent) against Syrian civilians comes as no surprise. Already the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said yesterday that there is so far no convincing evidence for the accusations by Washington against Damascus.

Even the Russian President Putin has recently called these claims by the Obama administration in Washington against the Syrian governance in Damascus an “utter nonsense” and said that the Syrian government would not use chemical weapons against their own people.

The US Representative Michael Burgess further stated in his statements about the alleged evidence and the classified documents of the US administration of Barack Obama that the claims by Washington that the Syrian government and President Bashar al-Assad was the side that has used chemical weapons against their own civilians are “suspect,” and that also under the consideration that the Syrian army wins on the ground against the foreign-backed terrorist groups and thus, the army of Syria has no need to make use of chemical weapons such as Sarin nerve agent.

The US administration of President Barack Obama says that the Syrian government of President Bashar al-Assad would have launched a chemical attack against Syrian civilians in suburbs of the capital, Damascus. This chemical attack in the suburbs of Damascus (e.g. Jobar) would have led to the killing of hundreds of Syrians.

The Syrian government as well as the President Bashar al-Assad have strongly rejected the US allegations and the unclassified intelligence report of Washington includes no completely convincing evidence for the claims by the US administration. The same applies for the statements of the German Federal Intelligence Service.

The alleged evidence is made up by assumptions and conclusions as well as by questionable opinions and the statement that the Syrian government, because it is the only side in Syria with has access to chemical weapons, has thus used it and that the so-called “Syrian rebels” never would use chemical weapons because the Syrian government is the only side that has access to such weapons.

Well, a very convincing consideration. The considerations and assumptions by the governments of France, Germany, Britain and the United States are useful for their aims, but partly far-fetched and finally, simply not convincing in a logical conclusion of all information given by these Western governments and under consideration of the situation in Syria.

Russia said for a reason that the evidence, which was provided by the US administration of Barack Obama for such allegations against the Syrian government is “inconclusive,” and called this behaviour of a “regime of secrecy” by some Western government as unacceptable.

The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said that the information provided to Moscow was just “some sketches” and contained “no supporting facts,” that would underline the accusations by Washington against the Syrian governance in Damascus about the alleged use of chemical weapons against Syrian civilians in suburbs of the capital on August 21.

I’ve been following this conflict for a while, from home base here in Texas, while a lot of the informed public are against the war, we have protests and rallies going on from coast to coast, a lot of the people in America are very poorly informed about the real world and their international views are clogged with mass media propaganda.
On the other hand, congress is voting next week on whether or not we’re going to start ww3 and from the looks of it, Obama’s plan to fire on Syria and fund Al ‘Qaeda, looks like it’s going to pass.

I wonder if all the obvious supporters of Isreal have lost their minds. What the statis quo in Isreal wants is the entire reagion to burst into flames in order to keep the worlds focus off the palistinian question. This behavior will eventually be their downfall for the US is not a suicidal nation regardless as to apacs influence. There are many in Isreal who know this is a bad idea and only benifits the few who are calling the shots.
