PROVINCES, (SANA)- Units of the Armed Forces on Thursday killed a large number of terrorists in Deir Ezzor and its countryside.

An official source in the province told SANA reporter that a unit of the Armed Forces targeted a terrorists’ gathering in al-Bukamal city, killing a number of them and injuring others.

Another unit of the Armed Forces clashed with an armed terrorist group in al-Aridi neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city, inflicting heavy losses upon its members, the source said.

Terrorist Suleiman al-Mohammad was identified among the dead.

The source added that another unit of the Armed Forces clashed with terrorists in al-Jbeileh neighborhood, killing and wounding a number of terrorists. Terrorist Saleh Mohammad Khedr al-Salloum was identified among the dead.

Armed Forces Dismantle 3 Explosive Devices, Kill 4 Terrorists in Hama

A unit of the Armed Forces on Wednesday foiled an armed terrorist group’s attempt to plant three explosive devices near Tarablus roundabout in Hama city.

An official source told SANA reporter that the army unit foiled an attempt by an armed terrorist group to plant the explosive devices, killed four of its members and injured 6 others.

The Armed Forces also seized the terrorists’ munitions and dismantled the explosive devices, the source added.

Most Dangerous Terrorists Eliminated in Harasta

A unit of the Armed Forces clashed with armed terrorist groups in the neighborhoods and surrounding areas of Harasta city in Damascus Countryside, killing a number of their members.

SANA reporter quoted an official source in the province as saying that a large number of the most dangerous terrorists were eliminated, among them terrorist Murshed Mahmoud al-Mudallal, head of the so-called ‘Coordination of Harasta’ in addition to terrorists Rakan al-Mawla, Bashar Dib al-Ejweh and Mustafa Izz-eddin of the so-called ‘Fateh al-Islam’ brigade.

The source added that terrorists Mohammad al-Masri, Mohammad Dib Hassoun and Nor and Suleiman al-Durrah were also identified among the dead.
