New Floating Bridge in Deir Ezzor Over Euphrates for Locals

Deir Ezzor new floating bridge - Syria

A new temporary floating bridge was built over the Euphrates to facilitate the movement of the locals between the two river banks between the villages of Muraiyieh and Marat in Deir Ezzor.

NATO terrorist armies part of the US-led illegal coalition and terrorist groups have competed in destroying the bridges in areas they infested, especially in Deir Ezzor province, in their systematic efforts to cripple Syria and turn it into a fail state.

Crossing between the two sides of the Euphrates is vital for the lives of the locals on all levels especially economically to transport produce and crops between the villages from both sides and socially to connect the families living on either side of the rive. The US-led War of Terror has caused hundreds of thousands of deaths and suffering of each Syrian citizen.

Syria has to rebuild with its own resources as the USA and its EU lackeys and all the regional stooges impose a tightening embargo and sanctions against the country.

This bridge is built with local expertise and help from Russia, it’s 145 meters long and 8 meters wide, it can carry up to 60 tonnes, and it floats with the river’s water levels.

The bridge cost 100 Million Syrian Liras, and the Engineering Unit of the Syrian Arab Army contributed to the supervision work of the bridge.

Locals gathered and celebrated the opening of the new bridge expressing their relief even with this small but very important step.

The Westerners will never learn that the Syrian people are willing to use what is available to them and rebuild their country just like how their fathers did under sanctions and will not give up.
