Landmines Kill Two Civilians this Month in Homs and Hama Countryside

Landmines continue to harvest innocent Syrian souls with its latest victim a shepherd killed yesterday in the countryside of the central province of Hama.

A spokesperson for the Hama Police Command said in a statement picked by the Syrian news agency SANA that ‘a landmine blew up in the evening of yesterday, Friday 16 July, in the town of Tal Meleh of Muhradah region in the northwestern Hama countryside killing a civilian while grazing sheep in the area.’

The Hama police spokesperson added that the landmine was planted by the so-called Nusra Front (Al Qaeda Levant aka Jabhat Nusra and HTS), a NATO-sponsored terrorist group affiliated with Al Qaeda when the region was under their control. Tal Meleh town is less than 10 kilometers (6 miles) from the southern borders of Idlib province, Al Qaeda’s last stronghold in Syria as per NATO officials.

Earlier in the month in the province of Homs to the south of yesterday’s incident, a teenage shepherd was killed by a landmine explosion, the landmine, in this incident, was planted by ISIS, another proxy of the USA to effect their regime change in Syria.

A spokesperson for the Homs Police Command said that the victim, a 17 years old civilian, was killed by a landmine explosion while grazing sheep in the Um Al-Tababeer of the Furulqus region deep in the desert in Homs eastern countryside.

The area was infested by the anti-Islamic terrorist group sponsored by the USA in both Syria and Iraq and called ISIS. This ISIS group only attacks states that do not recognize Israel, it has not carried out a single attack against the US forces illegally present in both countries since its inception despite the NATO claims of fighting this horrible terrorist organization, on the contrary, the US forces have numerously dropped weapons, food, and essentials ‘mistakenly’ in areas controlled by ISIS and have bombed the Syrian Army and the Iraqi PMU forces whenever they were in pursuit of ISIS terrorists, ‘by mistake’ as the Pentagon would explain each time.

Syria signed a memorandum of understanding with UNMAS, the United Nations Mine Action Service, back in July 2018, we’re yet to see any active action by this organization to help the Syrian authorities clear the tens of thousands of landmines and explosive devices planted by the assorted terrorist groups in the areas they infested.

How many innocent souls will continue to be killed in Syria until NATO citizens are satisfied with the blood spilled in their names with their money?
