Iran: Syrian War Must Be Solved by Diplomacy

Iran / Syria

Rouhani: Syria crisis must be resolved through diplomacy.

The successor of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and thus, the new Iranian President Hassan Rohani (Rouhani), spoke in a new statement about the Syrian war, the foreign intervention in Syria, and the Iranian President Hassan Rohani also mentioned that diplomacy is the only path to resolve the Syrian crisis.

However, this is not contradictory to the recent statements of Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad about an “iron fist” against terrorism on Syrian soil because in contrast to the falsified reports of the latest speech of Bashar al-Assad in the capital Damascus, the Syrian President has simultaneously mentioned that the secular Syrian government in the capital will still try to resolve the war by political means.

In addition, such terrorism and violence, backed by foreign powers, which is taking place in Syria since over two years now, cannot only be resolved by negotiations and talks.

One cannot believe that he`s able to end the terrorism between the borders of Syria by dialogues with either the armed terrorist forces and jihadist brigades or the foreign-backed, hypocritical and staged “Syrian opposition” with their headquarters of the divided umbrella organisation in Turkey. This staged external “Syrian opposition” has no real influence on the situation on ground / on the battlefields in the Arab nation.

The Iranian President Hassan Rohani (Rouhani) has condemned the foreign intervention in the Arab nation and also said in his first official press conference that diplomacy would be the only way to resolve the conflict in Syria.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani (Rohani) gave his first press conference since he is the new President of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Tuesday. In this press conference, Rohani has condemned the ongoing civil war in the neighbouring country Syria and he also condemned the foreign interventions in Syria as well as the foreign-support for the terrorists fighting on Syrian soil against the secular government and President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani (Rohani) also rejected any military option as a solution for the Syrian war / crisis and underscored the importance of a diplomatic and political solution for the conflict in Syria – with the “participation of all the Syrian groups” including the Syrian government in the capital (Damascus) as well as the so-called Syrian opposition.

In addition, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani (Rohani) added this statement that regional countries such as Turkey, Iran, and others assist and participate in negotiations about a political solution for the Syrian conflict, these countries in the region are able to accelerate the process to reach such a diplomatic solution for the Syrian war.

The new President of Iran, Hassan Rohani (or Rouhani…) also underlined the importance of bolstering ties with the neighbouring states of his country in the Middle East and stated in his first official press conference that the “easing of the tensions across the Middle East” would be one of his top diplomatic priorities as Iranian President.

In addition, Rohani further explained that the region needs efforts to establish tranquillity and stability and that the regional tensions in the Middle East have to be reduced. The new Iranian President Rouhani (Rohani) gave the oath of office in Iran’s Majlis after he has been endorsed by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

The reason for “Hassan Rohani or Rouhani” is that several sites use Rohani while other more important sites write his name as Rouhani.. Sorry. I think Rouhani is correct and Rohani false.. to be honest.

How do you negotiate with a rabid dog? In my mind, the last thing the guerillas should hear is ‘Rest in peace.’ followed by a pistol shot. The Iron Fist and an ounce of lead.

I am thinking the same.. negotiations with such kind of “people” is totally worthless.. the only solution takes place on the battlefield and in case all human ressources of the foreign and regional “enemies” are deleted, there is a base to talk with some who will then be in a no more so arrogant position.
