HTC One Max

HTC One Max: First Picture of the bigger HTC One.

The HTC one Max is one of the devices that will be frequently a topic in the press in the coming weeks. The first render image of the new HTC One Max smartphone emerged now and shows a bigger HTC One, as it has been expected.

The known tech-whistleblower “@evleaks” has published this first render image of the 5.9-inch smartphone by HTC, featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800-SoC and the known current design standards of HTCs smartphones such as the HTC One and the new HTC One Mini.

So, what is this HTC One Max all about? The HTC One Max is the first “phablet” from HTC and as stated, to say it simply, it is a bigger HTC One smartphone with more horse power due to the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800-SoC and some other benefits compared to the already published HTC smartphones in this year.

The “Max” is the name suffix for HTCs first big “phablet” with the mobile operating system Android by Google and it has been clear since many weeks that HTC will publish such a bigger smartphone with Beats Audio, Stylus support and other features such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800-Processor.

The new rendering of the HTC Max One smartphone is not showing much new. It looks like a larger HTC One and that was probably to expect.

The upcoming HTC device with the latest Android version has the same plastic frame like the HTC One Mini and slightly wider speaker grills due to its bigger size. In general, it is difficult to make a difference between the HTC One and the HTC One Max if one has no information about the size on pictures. The both Android devices by the Taiwanese company HTC look almost the same.

However, the power button of the new HTC One Max is no more at the upper left side of the frame, and this would make some sense at such an almost 6-incher device, although the rendering of the HTC One Max is not a final picture of the new device by HTC, and thus, the design can still change till the new “HTC phablet” will be released.
