FSA Responds to Pope Francis Call for Peace in Syria

Pope Francis - 266th and current Pope of the Catholic Church.

One of 3 places on the planet that still speaks the language of Jesus Christ is in Syria and particularly in northern Damascus Countryside, it’s a town called Maaloula. The town that speaks Aramaic and dominated by Christian families since the beginning of Christianity was invaded today by the western backed Wahhabi Takfiri Cannibal Sex Jihadists aka FSA, the Free Syrian Army.

Pope Francis, the head of the Catholic church in the world delivered a message Sunday, September 01, 2013, calling for peace in Syria. “The world needs to see gestures of peace and hear words of hope and of peace,” Pope Francis said.

In the wake of the ugly faces some western leaders have shown in their determination to launch an aggression against Syria, the pope called to set aside September 7th as a day of fasting and prayer for Syria.

Takfiris are those following a specific doctrine claiming to be based on Islam but distorting Islam in all ways possible and labeling everybody who opposes them as infidels, which earned them their name ‘Takfiris’. ‘Infidels’ in their belief should be killed in the most heinous way, slaughtering with a non-sharp hand knife while praising God, not distinguishing between a child, a woman, an old man or woman or even babies they call as ‘seeds of infidelity’. Takfiris follow the British tailored Wahhabi religion which is an offshoot of Zionism.

Those Takfiris, forming the core of the so called Syrian opposition fighters under the FSA umbrella, holding different names like Nusra Front for example, took the pope’s initiative in their own way and attacked the peaceful town Maaloula, which sits at an altitude of more than 1500 meters in a rigid mountainous area. They ‘liberated’ the town, as their sources claimed, and with our almost 2.5 years experience with them their liberation means massacres in all types.

Maaloula also holds the cave tomb of St. Takla, wife of St. Paul who fled her persecutors and found refuge and safety in this town, now in the hands of the same foreign mercenary barbarians funded by the international Zionists in the USA, France and Saudi Arabia, the same groups which destroyed tens of shrines, mosques, tombs and statues in every place they infested in the country, they stole the body of one of prophet Muhammad PBuH companions Hijir Bin Adi al-Kindi in Adra, Damascus countryside early May this year.

Christians and others of minority beliefs in Syria and beyond are considered enemies of these Takfiris and they are on their radar, we’ve seen Iraq emptied from its Christian population and the turn now is on Syria. Patriarch Laham, Patriarch of the Church of Antioch, stated that 450,000 Christian Syrian were forced to leave their homes since the start of the “blessed revolution” in 2011.

We hope the SAA can move swiftly into the area and cleanse the city from these terrorists with lice-infested beards before the world loses this one more of its heritage maintained over history.

An obvious target, no? A good spot to park SAA soldiers recovering from wounds who would also have functioned as a guard force. Who dropped the ball at SAA headquarters, hmmm?

Important correction. St. Thekla was a disciple (student) of St. Paul, not his wife. He himself was unmarried and encouraged those who were able to live a celibate life, which is what she did.

Just read on a Lebanese news site that the Al Nusra thugs shot with anti-aricraft guns and mortar into the village at 3am before they blew up a car in front of the SAA checkpoint and then raiding the checkpoint. It was the first attack ever on Maalula, a tranquil, off the beaten track village.
I guess they started their raid from a fairly new large Sunni-dominated village some 4-5 km to the east. Control of Maalula would extend their fought for a corridor from Yabrud/An Nabk-Maalula-Sednaya towards northeastern Damascus along the Anti-Lebanon range. From this corridor, they could again try to establish control of the Damas-Homs highway and, try to permanently disrupt this line of supplies between the Syrian coast and Damascus. A dangerous development.
Maalula had been popular among Muslims as well, with women of all religious groups coming to pray in Tekla’s monastery when they planned to have children after marriage. But I guess, this multi-cultural treasure is now history just like hundreds of other places in Syria. God bless the people there, if they have not left for Lebanon yet…

On this forum we don’t wail on religion; it’s neither informative nor constructive, and displays a total lack of manners and consideration for others who actually contribute, or attempt to contribute, to the forum, and who are welcome regardless of faith, denomination or sect. Those who have nothing to offer but hatred might be more content on some other forum.

Well, they can cash in nicely by “encouraging” people to stay in villages such as Maalula. Charge protection money for security, gate tax if people want to go in and out, tax on goods coming in… This is common practice in countries with devided communities. I saw it in Burma during the 90ies, in Yemen, and Syria is no different. Maalula has a few thousand Christians who won’t fight. So, either leave and hand nice houses over to thugs, or stay and pay.

Well, AH, I’ve seen nothing in the scriptures which prohibits self defense. We’ve seen local self defense forces beating the thugs like a drum, fighting alongside SAA and NDF, and keeping the jihadis out just by the fact of the defense forces existence. Still, given the known proximity of the thugs to Maalula and the probability of an attack on such a juicy target, I’m having a hard time thinking that leaving the people hanging out there to dry was not deliberate. I don’t like the thought that SAA command is that inept. I don’t know – –
