Extremists recruit Russians for Terror Groups in Syria

Russian Cleric: Young Russians are recruited by extremists to fight in Syria.

While Russian Ministers have criticized the UN report about the use of chemical weapons in Syria in new statements and, for example, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia even has said that factual evidence is missing in the report by the UN inspectors, it seems that more and more young Russians are recruited by extremist groups in Russia in order to fight in Syria against the units of the Syrian Army and the mainly secular government of President Bashar al-Assad.

At least, the Deputy Head of Russia’s Spiritual Board of Muslims, Damir Mukhetdinov, has warned that extremists in Russia try to recruit Russians for the terrorist groups fighting in Syria against the government in Damascus and added that these extremists would especially try to recruit young Russians for the armed fights in the Arab country.

The Russian cleric, Damir Mukhetdinov, further said in his recent statement about the dangerous situation that extremist groups try to recruit young people in Russia for the terrorist groups fighting in Syria that he was informed about this by many religious leaders.

All these religious leaders have reiterated that already hundreds of even very young people from Russia have travelled to Syria on their own or by the support of these extremist groups in order to participate in the fights against the Syrian government alongside the foreign-backed terrorist groups in Syria.

The Deputy Head of Russia’s Spiritual Board of Muslims added that among the recruited people are not only Russian nationals but probably also “some immigrants from the other republics of the former Soviet Union.”

Damir Mukhetdinov has understandable expressed his regret about the situation that so many very young Russians, often aged between 17 to 18 years, were influenced by the extremist groups in Russia and even recruited for the battles of the terrorist groups against the Syrian Army and government in Damascus.

The Russian cleric has also regretted that these very young Russians have not consulted the religious clerics in Russia before they decided to travel to Syria in order to fight alongside the foreign-supported terrorist groups. Damir Mukhetdinov added that these young people from Russia are now “losing their lives in an inhumane and psychological war.”

The young Russians fighting in Syria against the government of President Bashar al-Assad only represent a small part of all the foreign nationals who are already fighting alongside the terrorist groups and Al-Qaeda-affiliated brigades in order to topple the Syrian government and/or to wage a very strange jihad. Of course, many of the very young fighters among the terrorist groups in Syria were sadly indoctrinated and influenced by extremists because it`s easy to influence and “guid” young people, especially when they are religious.

Beside the Russians fighting in Syria, there are also many terrorists from Chechnya, Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan fighting alongside the Al-Qaeda-linked terrorist groups or the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) against the units of the Syrian Army. Among these extremist fighters are also veterans of the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya.

And beside the foreigners from Arab countries who are already fighting in Syria against the secular government in Damascus and probably in order to topple Bashar al-Assad or to establish an Islamist state in Syria, there are also people from European countries, the United States, and Australia, who are fighting alongside the so-called “Syrian rebels”. There are fighters and extremists from Germany, France, Sweden, Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, and also from the UK. Of course, these foreign nationals pose a threat for the security of their homelands when they will return from Syria to their origin countries – and it is to assume that many of these extremists or deluded youths will return to their homelands after the battles on Syrian soil.

According to some media reports, it is assumed that over 50,000 foreigners are currently already fighting in Syria alongside the terrorist groups and Al-Qaeda-affiliated brigades against the mainly secular government of President al-Assad. Let the 50,000 foreign extremists and fighters return to their home countries… They will pose a threat for the national security of their origin countries. There is no question about this fact.

The vast majority of Russians support of the Syrian president. Rumors that the many Russians are going to fight against Asala – obviously exaggerated.
Some extremists are coming to the Al-Qaeda from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Chechnya and Ukraine. What they are doing – is a crime even in their homeland.

I guess the jihadi goons would rather die young and alone in Syria, than grow old and die in the bosom of their families at home. SAA, NDF and local defense forces will be glad to kill them, since that’s what they seem to prefer.
