Chemical Weapons: From Turkey to Syria

Former Turkish official: Chemical weapons came from Turkey to Syria.

While the U.S. Defence Secretary, Chuck Hagel, claimed that Moscow was one of the supplier of chemical weapons (e.g. poison gas) to the Syrian government and the national army of Syria, a former member of a city council in the Turkish province of Hatay has testified that the chemical weapons (e.g. Sarin nerve agent) that were allegedly used in suburbs of Damascus on August 21 were transported from Turkey to Syria.

After U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, has lied in terms of the “absence of Al-Qaeda in Syria” and even the Russian President Vladimir Putin called him a liar in regards of the statements by John Kerry at a hearing of the US Senate, nobody can certainly be sure that the statements by US Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel are true.

John Kerry is liar and that`s a fact now. Thus, Kerry follows in the footsteps of persons such as Colin Powell. After the recent years, all the war of aggressions (e.g. Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya …) and the lies by US officials and even members of the US administration in Washington and the Presidents such as George W. Bush, every statement by them is to put into questions.

This also applies for the claim by US Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel that Russia was one of the supplier of chemical weapons to Syria. It is to assume that Moscow won’t be very happy about such a baseless claim by Chuck Hagel. Not to mention that the statements by the former member of a city council in the Turkish province of Hatay seem to already reject the baseless (and even senseless) claim by Chuck Hagel against Moscow.

However, there is a reason why Chuck Hagel made this claim against Russia in terms of the chemical weapons in Syria. Some parts of the US administration really want the war against Syria and it is a really good situation for the backers and supporters of the war planes by Washington against Damascus that the totalitarian dictatorships of Saudi Arabia and Qatar will pay the US-led invasion into Syria. Such a US-led military strike and invasion of Syria also means that the US troops and soldiers will become the paid mercenaries of the regimes in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

The US Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel made the claim against Russia yesterday. However, Hagel did not provide further details or any kind of evidence for his claim that Moscow has supplied chemical weapons to the Syrian government of President Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian Arab Army (SAA). Of course, not a new situation and behaviour by officials from Washington. While Russia underlines statements with evidence, the U.S. administration seems to think that it simply does not need facts and evidence to underline or justify claims and wars.

However, when the United States think that they really need evidence for the justification of a war of aggression, they invent and fabricate some evidence (Hello, Colin Powell!) or they get the support with fabricated evidence by the Israeli regime in Tel Aviv.

Although the statement by Chuck Hagel is true that Syria has stockpiles of (old) chemical weapons, it is not true that Syria still produces chemical weapons. Further, Syria was not equipped with further chemical weapons by Russia in at least the last 15 years.

And in terms of the new statements by this former member of a Turkish city council in the province of Hatay, the former Turkish province official said that security forces of the Turkish government (some call it a regime) have found a two-kilogram cylinder with Sarin nerve agent (poison gas) after searching the homes of terrorists and jihadists from the al-Qaeda and al-Nusra (Jabhat al-Nusra) forces in Syria. The former Turkish official testified that chemical weapons were transported from Turkey to Syria in order to carry out chemical attack.

Mohamad Gunes, the former Turkish provincial official, also said that these militants and fighters from Al-Qaeda and the al-Nusra Front (Jabhat al-Nusra) use the Turkish borders “to take the gas into Syria.”

Mohamad Gunes, the former Turkish provincial official, also said that these militants and fighters from Al-Qaeda and the al-Nusra Front (Jabhat al-Nusra) use the Turkish borders “to take the gas into Syria.” He said afterwards that the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad “has no reason to kill his own people,” and that the Turkish people in the southern province of the country, near the Turkish border with Syria, repeatedly would say that the “weapons were used by the al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front (Jabhat al-Nusra) militants and not the Syrian government.”

Farid Mainy, another resident from the Turkish province of Hatay, said the following in terms of the US machinations in the region and especially in terms of Al-Qaeda and the Syrian conflict:

“America and Israel had al-Qaeda use chemical weapons in order to push us into war; none of us wants war here. In the history of Hatay, we all lived peacefully side by side, now there is Mossad, CIA and al-Qaeda all over the place. We are worried that they might use chemical weapons against us.”

The Turkish residents in the province of Hatay and in other areas of the country believe that the Turkish government of Prime Minister Erdogan is allowing the transfer of weapons because the administration is trying to create a pretext in order to wage war on its neighbouring country, Syria, and to support the interests of the United States and the Israeli regime in Tel Aviv.
