Car bomb explosion in Afrin, northwest of Aleppo

A car bomb exploded earlier today in the city of Afrin northwest of Aleppo, only material damages reported, the city is occupied by Turkish forces with an assortment of Al Qaeda terrorists.

The car was parked in the Al-Mahmoudiyeh neighborhood of Afrin, the explosion was heard throughout the city, local sources said that there were no casualties from the explosion, however, the material damage in the surrounding area was considerable.

This explosion comes only two days after an attack in the same city killed a Turkish officer and two soldiers which was followed by hysterical indiscriminate bombing by artillery on a number of Syrian villages in the vicinity of Afrin.

Nobody claimed responsibility for today’s attack, yet, it could be very well part of the ongoing fratricide between the different terrorist groups working for the different countries operating under NATO in northern Syria, and could be an attack by the locals resistance against the foreign forces and their Al Qaeda affiliated terrorists.
