Syria’s President al-Assad: Failure awaits Washington in case of a military intervention.

The President of Syria, Bashar al-Assad, has warned the West and especially the U.S. administration in Washington about the results of a possible military attack on Syria. The Syrian President al-Assad said in his warning towards the U.S. administration that a failure awaits the United States in case Washington launches a war against the Arab nation.

President Bashar al-Assad mentioned all the previous unleashed wars by the United States as an example for his statements about the failure that awaits Washington when it really starts a military attack on Syria and begins with cruise missile strikes on targets in the Arab nation.

According to recent reports, these plans of airstrikes on Syria also include units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) as possible targets of the updated list of targets in Syria by the Pentagon and U.S. military.

Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad made these remarks towards the West and especially in direction of the warmongers in Washington in a new interview, published by the Russian newspaper Izvestia today.

The President of Syria, al-Assad, said the following statement in his new interview with the Russian newspaper:

“A Failure awaits the United States as in all previous wars it has unleashed, starting with Vietnam and up to the present day.” (Bashar al-Assad / Damascus)

Of course, the used example with Vietnam by the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in his warning about the huge failure by Washington if the administration in the United States really starts to carry out an open war against Syria not far-fetched. The reference to the recent history of unleashed wars by Washington are understandable and underline the statements of Bashar al-Assad.

The interview of Syria’s President al-Assad, published by the Russian newspaper Izvestia on Monday, is a reaction to the recent increased war rhetoric and propaganda by several officials from the United States about a possible military intervention and attack in and against the Arab nation over the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Syrian Army in e.g. Jobar (near Damascus) against the US-backed terrorist groups.

However, the team of ANNA-news, including Marat Musin, is able to testify that the Syrian Army units have not made use of chemical weapons in their military operations in Jobar and other suburbs of the Syrian capital, Damascus.

Especially in terms of the suburb of Jobar, the video recordings of the military operations and clashes by the team of ANNA-news seem to confirm the statements by the Syrian government in Damascus and several officials from the Syrian military, that the Syrian forces have not used chemical weapons against the foreign-supported terrorists and jihadists on Syrian soil.

In his new interview, the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad also rejected the propaganda about the use of chemical weapons by the units of the Syrian Army and called the allegations and propaganda by Western governments, the Israeli regime in Tel Aviv as well as by Washington “politically motivated” lies in order to maintain their violent agenda in the Middle East and especially against Syria.

The Syrian President al-Assad further said in his new interview, published by the Russian newspaper, that the statements by several politicians in the West and by other countries are “an insult to common sense” and that it is “nonsense” that the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has used chemical weapons in the battles against the foreign-backed terrorist groups on Syrian soil.

Al-Assad underlined this statement with the rhetorical question that there is not really any state that would use chemical weapons or any other weapons of mass destruction in places where its own forces and units are concentrated.

According to al-Assad and the common sense, such acts (the use chemical agents or other weapons of mass destruction in places where the own forces are concentrated) by any state would go against the elementary logic, of course.

Bashar al-Assad made these remarks in his new interview:

“The comments [accusing the government of using chemical weapons] made by politicians in the West and other countries are an insult to common sense… It is nonsense. (…) Would any state use chemical or any other weapons of mass destruction in a place where its own forces are concentrated? That would go against elementary logic.” (Bashar al-Assad)

The President of Syria also said that his country has to deal with both individual terrorist and jihadist groups and entire terrorist armies, which are similar in regards of the ideology. Syria’s President also stated that these terrorist forces are backed by the same sponsors.

Bashar al-Assad also spoke about the totalitarian dictatorship in Saudi Arabia within his new interview that has been published by the Russian newspaper today. The Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said that the Saudi regime is both the financial backer and the ideological role model of the terrorist groups fighting in Syria. In addition, al-Assad also stated that the Saudi regime is propagating dangerous Wahhabi ideology and that the House of Saud supports the religious fanatics and terrorists in Syria with a lot of money in order to carry out violent acts, massacres and bloodshed on Syrian soil.

Syria’s President also said in this new interview that there is no army in the world that can be fully operational throughout a country, and this is what the foreign-backed terrorists take advantage of, while Bashar al-Assad also underlined that the units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) are able to destroy the militancy and terrorists on Syrian soil – not right now and immediately, but eventually.

Bashar al-Assad also mentioned in this interview, that tens of thousands of foreign terrorists and religious fanatics are passing into Syria every month and that the Israeli regime in Tel Aviv is totally involved in the battles against the Syrian government in Damascus. That the Israeli regime is treating “dozens of terrorists in its hospitals” is just one example for the dubious machinations by the Zionist-led occupation regime in Tel Aviv.

President Bashar al-Assad finally said that the leaders in the West will not succeed in their attempt to transfer Syria into another puppet of their Western interests.

Bashar al-Assad:

“If someone dreams of turning Syria into a puppet of the West – they won’t succeed.”

I’ve just watched a couple of postings by a brave Syrian girl who not just makes a point but has published amazing video interviews, including SAA soldiers (in English).
She was once a staunch opposer of Assad, and maybe still is to some point, but she has spoken out against the onslaught of western and western-supported criminals and murderers against her people, the Syrian people.

President Bashar al-Assad stressed that Syria is a sovereign country that will fight terrorism and will freely build relationships with countries in a way that best serves the interests of the Syrian people.

In an interview with the Russian newspaper of Izvestia, President al-Assad stressed that “the majority of those we are fighting are Takfiris, who adopt the al-Qaeda doctrine, in addition to a small number of outlaws.”

On the alleged use of chemical weapons, President al-Assad said that the statements by the US administration, the West and other countries were made with disdain and blatant disrespect of their own public opinion, adding that “there isn’t a body in the world, let alone a superpower, that makes an accusation and then goes about collecting evidence to prove its point.”

His Excellency stressed that these accusations are completely politicised and come on the back of the advances made by the Syrian Army against the terrorists.
