Algeria: Arab League Decision on Syria violates Rules of Procedures.

A new statement allegedly made by the Algerian administration says that Algeria is certain that the recent decision on Syria, which was issued by the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers at the concluding session in the meeting of the Arab League (AL) in the Egyptian capital Cairo on last weekend, constitutes a violation of the Rules of Procedure of the Arab League (AL).

According to the report by the state news agency of Algeria, the violation of the Rules of Procedure of the Arab League (AL) in particular happened in regards of the mechanism of the decision making in the case that a concord in the recent decision of the Arab League (AL) in terms of Syria was not realized among the member states, and thus, the last decision on Syria by the Arab Foreign Ministers in Cairo constitutes a violation of the Rules of Procedure of the Arab League (AL). At least, for Algeria.

The report by the Algerian news agency also says that the Algerian administration has stressed its strong rejection and condemnation of the use of chemical weapons in Syria and that it does not matter who is using such weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) – the Algerian government stressed its strong denunciation of the use of such horrible weapons.

Further, the Algerian administration also expressed its reservation on the item number four of the recent decision that was issued by the Ministerial Council of the Arab League (AL) at the meeting of the Arab Foreign Ministers in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

The item number four of the last decision on Syria by the Arab League (AL) stipulates “all deterrent measures against the Syrian government” in Damascus and confirmed that Saudi Arabia and Qatar have still a key influence in the Ministerial Council of the Arab League.

It came as no surprise that the Foreign Minister of the totalitarian dictatorship in Saudi Arabia has even called on Washington at the meeting of the Arab League (AL) in Cairo to start its military attack on Syria. Meanwhile, the Algerian administration has called upon the Ministerial Council of the Arab League (AL) and all other sides that are involved in the Syrian conflict and the current turmoil in and around the Arab country to wait for the final results of the laboratory tests of the samples from Syria before any actions are taken in regards of a possible US-led military attack on Damascus.

The samples of the UN inspectors from Syria are said to be investigated today in a Swedish laboratory. The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has demanded an acceleration of the lab tests of the samples from Syria.

Algeria rejects any kind of military action against Syria and the stance of the Algerian administration in terms of the current increased threats of a US-led war on Syria was yet again underlined by the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mourad Medelci.

The Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mourad Medelci, said in his statements in regards of the current turmoil and the threats of war by Washington against the Syrian government that Algeria calls for the end of the violence in Syria and supports negotiations in order to find political solutions for the Syrian conflict.

Further, the Algerian minister said that Algeria condemns the heinous crime of using chemical weapons and he urged a comprehensive dialogue among all the Syrians and all sides that are somehow involved in the bloodshed in Syria and who can help to solve the conflict in the Arab country.

In the meantime, the Austrian Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegger has pointed out the stance of Austria in terms of the possible US-led military strike against Syria.

The Austrian Foreign Minister said that negotiations are the only method to solve the conflict in Syria and that any kind of military action against Syria will only increase the problems and violence in the Arab country.

Austria’s Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegger called for the renouncing of the violence by all sides that are involved in the conflict and crisis in the Arab country and urged negotiations between all sides in order to find a political and diplomatic solution for Syria.

In a speech before the Austrian ambassador’s conference held in Vienna today, the Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegger underlined that a military solution is no real solution for the conflict in Syria and that only negotiations are the way to solve the conflict in the country.

The Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegger also considered that everybody is in a state of waiting whether the United States will launch a military strike on Syria or not, while all sides should try to find a political solution and talk about the conflict and possible actions to solve the crisis in Syria under the terms of international law and the human rights principles.

Hi, C. I couldn’t find anything current on who is in or out for an attack on Syria. Just came over the radio that UN has told Obama that any attack on Syria except in direct self defense, or sanctioned by the UNSC would be illegal. If Obama breaks the law, who’s going to arrest him? Our own marines? I know that it’s a mission they would very much enjoy, but still – – –
