So-called “Syrian rebels” don`t recognize the Syrian National Coalition (SNC).

Several foreign-backed terrorist groups in Syria, including the Al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front (Jabhat al-Nusra), Ahrar al-Sham, and the Liwa al-Tawhid have published a joint statement saying that the so-called “Syrian National Coalition” (SNC) in Turkey and the proposed “government” under the recently chosen Ahmad Tomeh do not represent them, while the units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) have continued their military operations against these foreign-supported terrorist groups and made further advances in the battles against these armed terrorists – for example, in the Syrian town of Jobar, located in the East of Syria’s capital, Damascus.

According to the reports, the joint statement by the foreign-supported terrorist groups was published by 13 groups of these terrorist forces in Syria and this includes the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) but also the Al-Qaeda-affiliated jihadists of the al-Nusra Front (Jabhat al-Nusrah), Ahrar al-Sham, and the Liwa al-Tawhid. Thus, these terrorist groups have jointly rejected any foreign-based political wing of the so-called “Syrian opposition” and this includes the so-called “Syrian National Coalition” (SNC) in Turkey.

The joint statement by the terrorists and jihadists of the Liwa al-Tawhid, Ahrar al-Sham, and the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) says that the “Syrian National Coalition” (SNC) and the proposed government under Ahmad Tomeh does not represent them and that they do not recognize this “National Coalition“.

It is not yet known what this will mean for the future, but the joint rejection of 13 terrorist groups, including the Syrian Al-Qaeda offshoots such as the Jabhat al-Nusrah (al-Nusra Front), confirms that the so-called “Syrian National Control” (SNC) has already lost any kind of control of the so-called “opposition forces” and “Syrian rebels” fighting in Syria against the Syrian Army and the government of President Bashar al-Assad, while these terrorist groups kidnap and kill Syrian civilians.

Not to mention that the increase of the armed infighting between several terrorist groups in Syria also shows that there is no united group of “Syrian rebels”, but a lot of terrorist groups with different goals and intentions behind their fight against the Syrian government.

In the meantime, several units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) were able to eliminate further armed terrorists and Al-Qaeda-linked jihadists in the area of the Syrian town of Jobar, located in the countryside of Syria’s capital, Damascus. According to the reports, nearly two-thirds of the area of Jobar and its surrounding are now again under the control of the Syrian Army trops. The town of Jobar is one of the Syrian towns in the East of Damascus that is of a high strategically importance in the battles against the foreign-backed terrorist groups.

The armed terrorist groups tried to use the town of Jobar as a gateway to infiltrate into the Syrian capital, Damascus. However, if the reports about the situation are to believe almost two-thirds of the area in and around Jobar is now under the control of the Syrian Army.

The reports about the Syrian town of Jobar were published by the team of Press TV that has accompanied the units of the Syrian Army in its battles against the terrorist groups in and around the town in the Eastern countryside of Damascus. Of course, the team of Press TV had to use an armoured vehicle of the Syrian military in order to accompany the troops of the Syrian Army into the centre of the Syrian town of Jobar since such an armoured army vehicle is essential to avoid the sniper fire from the extremist groups in the area in Syria’s Jobar.

The Syrian Army said that the major part of Jobar is now again under control of its troops. According to the information by an army officer, seventy to eighty percent of the Syrian town of Jobar in the East of Damascus is again under the control of the Syrian forces and the “rest” of Jobar is under their gunfire.

The army officer added that there are no civilians in Jobar anymore and that all residents from Jobar have left to secured areas in the region or went to Damascus. Only armed terrorists remain in the city of Jobar, while some of them are Syrians and many others of these armed terrorists are from foreign countries. The army officer also said that the armed terrorist groups in Jobar have different kinds of heavy machineguns and sniper rifles.

Besides Jobar, the military operations by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) also continue in several other areas in the countryside of Syria’s capital, Damascus. For example, the mob-up operations and clashes continue in al-Asali, Darayya, al-Qadam, and Beit Sahm, all on the outskirts of Damascus.

Thanks, Nassir; it was the sheer simplicity of the idea, actually. I’m a simple kinda guy and very much addicted to the KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) principle.
